Chapter 138 Got Into A Staged Accident

  • “I didn’t hit her, and even if that were true, she’s fine now. Doesn’t that’s all that matter?” I said at the top of my voice, trying to convince them. My eyes were so swollen I could barely see.
  • I tried to fight back, but both my hands were pinned by some men. Penny forcefully removed the bracelet from my hand, stroked it twice before putting it in her pocket. I saw a smirk on her face.
  • “Give it back!” I pleaded while tears streamed down my face. At that moment in life, I felt the most powerless. I hated myself for not being able to knock them all down and escape this hellhole. And most of all, taking back my bracelet.
  • “Now, tell me. How are you going to compensate us for hitting our people?” A tanned, powerful-looking man loomed over me.
  • I clutched at Serena, who was crouching on the ground, and I wiped off the blood from the corner of my mouth. “You jerks! Bastards! I hit no one!” I looked up at the man and yelled.
  • That man kicked me viciously, knocking me to the ground. He sneered and grabbed Serena by the throat. “Did she hit someone with her car?” he asked with a grin.
