• The morning sun has barely surfaced, when Adams gets up to park his things. After parking and dressing, he then comes to my bedside, caresses my hair and he gives me a kiss on my forehead and leaves.
• Suddenly, I shudder out of sleep like I had just had a bad dream in which Adams was leaving without me. I quickly move out of bed, and browse my eyes around the room and he's nowhere to be found. This makes me anxious. I notice that breakfast was served and was eaten already. I hurry out of the room, check the corridors leading to the compound like a mad dog.
