  • SUNSHINE HOSPITAL.
  • "But who is this Godsent person"she asked herself.
  • "But Madam did you see the person who cleared my hospital bills "she asked the nurse who shook her head"no I didn't see the person but you can ask the doctor,I think he knows better"
  • "Ok,ma'am,I will do just that,am so happy right down,I just pray my twin sister survives this,I really need to thank that person , this really means a lot to me,I owe that person my life now"she said tears falling down her cheeks once more.
  • "It's alright, she is going to be fine, don't worry,the operation will be a success"the nurse comforted her ."thanks so much for your kindness to me, can I atleast know your name"Mariana demanded."I 'm nurse Emelda,you can call me Emelda"The nurse replied smiling at her."ok thanks nurse Emelda ,ummm,Emelda"
  • "It's nothing,I have been in this kind of situation before but it was my father,it really hurts to be in a situation where you want to save your loved one,you want them to be alive,you want to see them smiling again,(wipes her tears)but it is not possible because you don't have enough money for their treatment and you can't possibly do anything about it because you don't have the money."
  • Mariana was moved by her story,tears threatening to escape from her eyes."it really hurts,but what happened to your father , were you able to save him?"she asked the nurse.
  • "No,I wasn't,he gave up,he was the only person I had left in this world then"."so sorry about that"Mariana sympathized.The nurse smiled at her"it's in the past now besides am married with kids now although it hurts me because he wasn't able to see his grandchildren,that's all for now,I don't want to reminisce about the past, just pray your sister gets well so you don't have to regret in the future."The nurse said patting her shoulders.Before she could say another thanks to the nurse,the nurse has left the ward.
  • Mariana was now alone ,she was so excited and grateful to the person that paid her sisters bill.she left the ward to know whether the surgery was done but the light to the operation room was still red indicating that the operation was still going on,she was restless,she paced up and down praying for the operation to go well.
  • Few hours later,the light changed to green indicating that the operation was done.the door to the operation room opened and the doctors walked out.she rushed to the doctor immediately."is my sister safe,was the operation successful?"she asked the doctor."yes, the operation was successful"the doctor replied her.Mariana couldn't believe her ears."so my sister is safe now?"she asked the doctor."yes"the doctor replied.
  • "Whoah!wowww!"she exclaimed."Thank you doctor, can I see her now?"she asked tears falling down her cheeks.words couldn't explain how she felt."no you can't see her now,she needs rest and we will watch her closely,she hasn't woke up yet maybe you will come back in two days time to see her because of her health."ok doctor but I can atleast take a look "she asked and the doctor smiled"sure"he replied."please doctor,I have something to ask you"she said to the doctor who looked at his watch."yes you can but be fast about it,I have to prepare for another operation."he said.
  • Clearing her throat,she asked"please doctor,who is the person that paid for my sister's treatment?"oh, that,the person didn't identify, he is such a nice man,I didn't know there were still good people left in this world"the doctor replied."A nice man ..so the person who paid for my sister's treatment is a man"she asked.
  • "I think so"the doctor replied ruffling his hair."can you please describe his appearance,is he tall,. something like that"the doctor was confused."I really don't remember about him,the only thing I remember is that he is a nice man who helped the needy"the doctor replied,"sounds weird though, infact this is weird,how can I not remember the person who paid your sister's hospital bills,I thought I have a good memory, what's wrong with me?,the more I try to remember,the more blurry his image is, infact I don't understand and my head hurts whenever I try to remember,I need to go for a check up"
  • Seeing that the doctor was thinking too much,she intervened."don't worry sir,it's okay, nothing is wrong with you,I think it's too much stress"she suggested."I think so too,you know,being a doctor is not easy especially being an experienced one"."yeah,I agree with you"Mariana chipped in."ok,I have to go now,take care"The doctor announced to her before leaving.
  • Mariana was alone once more,she went to the ward her sister was now in,she peeped through the window and saw her sister sleeping peacefully on the hospital bed, blood was being transfused to her.
  • She heaved a sigh of relief but who was this mysterious man that helped her,she thought of who it could possibly be but she didn't have male friends,there was only one person who can do this, she smiled at the thought,how did he find out,her boyfriend(Alexander Peters)
  • She left her sister's ward and decided to call him.she sat on a bench and brought out her cell phone and dialed Alex's number but he didn't pick up.
  • After her third trial,the call went through."hello"came a deep sexy voice which always entrap Mariana.she loved everything about this man."babe how are you?"she asked beaming with smiles."Am fine,you"he asked."am good"she replied.after minutes of silence.he asked"so what's up"."eeeehm,I just wanted to thank you for what you did for me,I appreciate"she replied.
