Chapter 5 Prologue 5

• Luke took a quick glance at her because of her statement.he pretended as if he heard nothing and concentrated on what he was typing on his laptop.Lily was expecting his reply but he didn't say a word.she controlled her anger waiting for him to say a word.Hector was now bored"what was Luke thinking"he thought to himself.
• After some minutes of silence, Luke spoke up."so who are you,you know I don't remember the face of the women I sleep with and it's rare to see them appear in front of me again after having sex with them,this is the first time this is happening,infact you broke the record,so who is this interesting Lady?"he said in a calm voice,his eyes still fixed on the laptop.
• Hector couldn't control his laughter anymore,he excused himself to free himself of the bondage of not laughing when watching a joke.Lily was beyond livid.This was the highest insult she had received ever since she was born.
• "How dare you,you stupid jerk!"she yelled.Luke squinted his eyes,his eyebrows knitted together,he raised his head up from the laptop looking at the human standing in front of him.This was the first time he was being insulted and to be insulted by a weak being was a big blow to him.
• This was the first time he gave her attention ever since she stepped her foot into the office.she wasn't happy with the sudden attention, infact she was scared,there was something off about this man but she couldn't pin point it.Luke was staring intently at her with a dark gaze.he was emitting such an intimidating aura.Lily almost froze at the spot but she regained her composure after remembering that she was the heiress of a powerful corporation."This man was really shameless"she thought to herself.
• "I never asked you to sleep with me, you threw yourself willingly at me and I paid you really well for the service rendered,I don't think we still have any deal between us."Luke said in a calm tone.Lily was really provoked at his words."do you know who I am?"she asked angrily but Luke didn't reply."I am Lily Carter the heiress of Carter's corporation,I am not a prostitute."
• Luke smiled mockingly which irritated Lily."I don't give a fucking damn who you are,you became a prostitute the day you slept with me so get your fucking ass out of my office now".Lily was fuming with anger,she let her emotions control her,she raised her hand up and slapped Luke on the cheek.
• Hector who was about to come in froze at the spot.he mind linked the gamma Eric"get ready to take care of a dead body"he announced."fuck"Eric cursed.He had many things to do and his jobs keep on piling up,now,he was going to take care of the body of a heiress to a powerful corporation,this was really going to be stressful.he thought.
• Luke was shocked,he had never being slapped before in his life time and being slapped by a weak human irritated him more.he clenched his fists together and he tightened his knuckle,the phone he was holding in his left hand cracked and broke at the pressure.Lily was shocked at how he broke his phone easily.he was really angry."Gosh, what trouble did I land myself into."she thought.
• Luke looked at her in the eyes,his left eye dark red and his right eye golden.his wolf and vampire side was very angry,they were both struggling on who would appear to destroy the creature that dared provoked them, that is why his eyes color were different from each other.
• Lily froze at the sight of Lucas,his appearance was scary,he didn't look normal.his fangs has also appeared and his hands were covered with white furs.Lily's feet was shaking,her hands trembling,goose bumps appeared on her body,her face was covered in beads of sweat.she didn't understand what was happening.she picked her phone from her bag to call the police but her hands were trembling,her phone dropped from her hands and fell down on the tiled floor , her screen shattering to pieces.
• Luke walked towards her,she walked backwards, Luke kept on walking to her with a cold expression and Lily kept on walking backwards till her back touched the wall.Luke put his hands on the wall locking the Lily,there was no way to escape now,Luke stared into her eyes,Lily was so scared,she closed her eyes and bit her lips forcing blood to come out of her lips.she wasn't helping the situation at all,only if she knew that Luke was a vampire,she wouldn't have tried biting her lips.
• Luke's hunger for blood increased as Soon as he saw blood tickling down from her lips down to her clothes.His vampire side took over and his both eyes turned dark red.he stared at the scared prey in front of him and smirked.He wanted to have fun with her first but remembering that she slapped her,he lost interest to have fun immediately.
• He sank his fangs immediately into her neck in anger.Lily screamed at the pain she experienced from the unexpected piercing.she screamed and screamed but Luke didn't leave her, he continued sucking her blood till he couldn't feel any life inside her again.he left her and Lily's cold body dropped to the ground.he took a white napkin and wiped his lips off of any trace of blood.
• "Take care of the body"he ordered his beta who nodded immediately.he took some important things and left the office.Hector called Eric who came immediately."you can handle it, right?"Hector asked Eric who nodded."ok,I leave it to you"he said and left to attend to some important things.
• Eric brought out his phone and dialed a number and the call went through."yes,Dave,it's Eric,I have an assignment for you,Lily Carter's dead body,make it look like an accident,if suspects is needed,make Lucy Carter the suspect."ok"Dave replied.
• After the call was disconnected,Eric heaved a sigh of relief.Taking care of Lily Carter's dead body wasn't as had as he thought.
