Chapter 4 Prologue 4

• She entered the elevator and pressed 20 to be taken to the last floor which was where Luke's floor was located.his office was the only office in that floor.The elevator stopped and opened and she stepped out,on her arrival on the 20th floor,she was stopped by Luke's well trained guards,they were dressed in black,they all had a muscular body,they were werewolves so nobody scared them except their Alpha"Luke" they didn't care who Lily was.Lily was intimidated by their looks at first because she hadn't seen this guards before,they were different, infact this was her first time being in this floor but remembering her status,she lifted her chin high and gazed them in the eyes."Out of my way, now"she yelled.
• The guards were shocked,as far as they can remember, their Alpha didn't accepts visitors in this floor and seeing this woman's guts but they weren't ordinary human guards,they were well trained werewolves,they knew their Alpha had never being in a relationship before so they thought of a way to handle the situation.one of werewolves mind linked the gamma informing about the situation at hand.
• The gamma arrived at the scene immediately,seeing Lily,he frowned,he remembered her clearly,she was the woman their Alpha was with the other night ,their Alpha would surely be displeased if he sees her here,he knows that their Alpha hate seeing the women he had sex with for the second time."what do you want?"Eric the gamma asked coldly."Are you asking me that,I want to see that your stupid boss"she yelled.Eric face turned red with anger at her words,he had a lot of tasks to finish and putting up with this woman was more annoying.
• The other guards who were stopping her earlier from coming in shook their head disappointedly.The woman they deemed brave wasn't brave at all, infact she was stupid.Eric was so annoyed,he didn't know how to take care of the situation because Lily was a human and a famous one at that.killing her was creating a mess in the human realm.he needed to handle the situation because Lily was already ranting like a mad woman."just leave while you can"Eric said to her."is that a threat or what,am not leaving here without seeing your stupid boss."she replied.
• Eric tried to mind link Luke but Luke locked his mind because he was in a board meeting.he sighed heavily.he tried to mind link Hector the beta and it worked.
• Hector arrived immediately and saw the woman causing trouble,he recognized her immediately as the heiress of the Carter's corporation and the woman whom their boss slept with the other night.his lips curled up into a smile,he was going to watch another show.compared to Eric, Hector was more evil and cunning like Luke maybe that was the features of the vampires,he was also handsome, women who saw him drooled over him and Lily wasn't an exception.she was captivated by the man standing before her,Hector smiled when he saw how Lily was staring at him."Miss, can you please wait here,my boss is in a meeting now,he will attend to you when he is back."he said smiling which made him look more sexier."ok"Lily agreed and she was taken to the reception area,she was given a magazine and a glass of juice with some snacks.
• After some while,The meeting ended,Hector took in some details of important things to do."make sure, the ic corporation sell their shares to us,I think Oliver is aiming for their shares."Luke said."ok"Hector nodded."why are you staring at me like that"Luke asked when he noticed something was off.Hector smiled at him."one of your night stands is waiting for you"Luke was displeased with the news."well , what are you wanting for?get rid of her."he said to Hector."Am sorry but this one isn't easy to get rid of,she is the heiress of the Carter's corporation."who cares."Luke stated.
• He headed towards his office with his beta walking behind him."Hey!"Lily yelled on seeing him.Luke took a quick glance at her, ignored her and walked into his office.Hector smiled"This woman really had guts"Lily was already fuming with anger at Luke's behavior towards her.
• She tried to badge into his office but she was stopped by Eric.she was about to slap Eric when Hector interrupted.he had a wicked grin on his face."you can come in now,miss Lily Carter"he announced.Lily eyed Eric and walked into the office followed by Hector.Luke was busy with his laptop when they came in.he looked up to see Lily,he frowned."why did you bring her in?"he asked Hector through mind link.Hector smirked."just want to watch some show"."you would pay for going against your Alpha"Luke said in a serious tone."I know but let me watch some show first"Hector replied grinning from ear to ear.Luke sighed ,his beta was really hopeless.if it was another person who did this,he would kill the person without mercy but Hector was his childhood friend and best friend,he was like a brother to him so he tolerated him Everytime.
• "what do you want?"he asked Lily,his eyes still on his laptop.Lily stared at Hector wondering why he was not leaving yet,she stared at Luke but Luke wasn't bothered about Hector's presence.
• "Talk or leave my presence, I've got things to do"Luke stated,his eyes still fixed on the laptop."well, like seriously,how dare you have sex with me and write me some cheque as if am a prostitute"she said angrily but Luke wasn't replying her. "This isn't what I dreamed of,I was a virgin before you slept with me,you took away my virginity and at the end of everything,you write me some cheque,I never told you I needed money,I am a Carter,I don't beg for money,you have to marry me for taking away my pride.she said.
• Hector held in his laughter,he was really enjoying the show.This woman was really something else.he thought to himself."The nerve of her to tell his Alpha to marry her.He was looking forward to see how Luke would react.
