• Harrison had just received a call saying that the R & M group has cancelled the contract. What were his biggest investors and he was ready to lose them?
• “Why did the R & M group refuse to keep the contract?”, Harrison asked with a calm expression and Lisa could hardly tell if he was angry or not.
• Harrison was the most complicated human being to understand.
• He has a look of an angel, one can mistake him for a calm, smart and gentle person but deep inside he’s the opposite.
• “They didn’t give a reason, they said they wanted a contract with someone more trustworthy and reliant”, she replied trying to put it in a way that he wouldn’t be so angry.
• “Arrange a meeting, let me talk to them.”, he ordered and she nodded immediately.
• She was happy that she didn’t get on his bad side today.
• “What of the documents I asked for?”, he asked and her heart skipped a beat because she wasn’t done.
• “I am not done Sir but I will try my possible best to submit it today. Please Sir just give me enough time.”, she said.
• “You need time? Do you plan all use a week to finish something that hardly takes a day? Finish it before I lose my patience.”, he said and she left immediately and came back after a few minutes.
• “What? Or you want a year to finish the work I assigned you to do?”
• “Mr Jason is here”, she said and his face become darker.
• He still had a calm face but one could still know that he was angry at the mention of the name “Jason”.
• “Where’s he?”
• “He’s outside.”, she answered and excused herself before he transfer aggression at her.
• “What are you doing here Jason?”, he asked coming from his office with her frown.
• “I came to see how you are faring dear cousin.”, he replied with a smile but Harrison had no expression on his face.
• “I was unable to attend your wedding so I came to make it up to you since we don’t get along “, he replied but Harrison still stared at him with a calm expression but was boiling in anger inside
• Any time he sees Jason or heard his name, he’s being reminded of Sara.
• Harrison was well aware that Jason hadn’t come because he cared, he just wanted to see maybe he was suffering.
• “There’s no need for that, you can leave now. You are not welcome here.”, he said icily.
• “I see you don’t want me here, your wife is really beautiful and friendly”, he said and Harrison glared at him.
• “Thanks.”, Elena blushed and Harrison scoffed.
• “I think you are smart enough to know that she’s married and can never be yours”, Harrison said and the smile disappeared from Jason’s face.
• “Just stay away from Elena and me”, Harrison stated.
• “Why are you acting as if you care for her? Am sure of the fact that your marriage one and it’s a loveless marriage”, Jason said and everyone gasped.
• “I thought you were smart enough to know that either a marriage is based on love or not, you can’t have what you can’t have”, Harrison said.
• “I am not here for a fight, dad sent me here to sort things out with you, I didn’t want to come but I had to”, he said.
• “You don’t have to do what you don’t want to, besides you are no longer a kid. Thanks for showing your face here, you can leave now”, he said coldly.
• “I will see you again cousin”, he said faking a smile but Harrison didn’t bother to fake s smile.
• It was obvious that Harrison didn’t want him in his office at all, so it will be useless to pretend like he was happy.
• “Nice meeting you Elena, I will see you soon.”, he said to Elena and winked.
• “Come to my office now”, he said tho with a calm expression but Elena stood there perplexed.
• “I pray this isn’t a love triangle”, she heard someone say but Elena chose to ignore it.
• “Why were you flirting with him?”, Harrison asked Elena when they got to his office.
• “You can flirt with anyone else but not Jason”, he added when Elena said nothing.
• “I wasn’t flirting with him”, she said.
• “Please stay away from him and make sure you don’t fall for him cos I won’t be able to save you”, he stated and left Elena dumbfounded.
• “Save me from what?”, she asked.
• “Lisa comes and shows Elena places in the company”, he said on the phone and a few minutes she appeared.
• “Hi am Lisa, your husband’s secretary”, she introduced herself.
• “Am Elena “, she replied.
• Somehow Elena felt safe with Lisa.
• “Do you enjoy working with Harrison?”, Elena asked.
• “This is the cafeteria that we come to when we are on a break”, she said trying to avoid the question.
• Then Elena remembered that Harrison hasn’t eaten since yesterday.
• “When does Harrison eat?”, She asked.
• “He eats whenever he feels like but I hardly see him eat.”, she replied.
• “Does he eat ordered food?”
• “No he doesn’t……... . he only eats the one from the cafeteria”, she replied and Elena wondered why but didn’t ask.
• ** After hours **
• “Where’s Harrison?”, Elena asked Lisa.
• She hasn’t heard from him since the time he spoke to her about Jason.
• “He went out”, Lisa answered and continued her work
• “Where did he go to?”
• “He didn’t say”, he replied.
• Elena found everything about Harrison weird, really weird.

• **Nighter’s bar**
• Harrison, Paul, Sammy, Tony and Tom were at the secret place in the bar.
• Paul was the owner of the bar, he was also part of Harrison’s mafia group (Red dragons). He’s gentle but can be dangerous sometimes.
• Sammy is the closest to Harrison. He has been in red dragons ever since he was a child like Harrison.
• Tony is the trouble maker among them. He is always causing fights and he doesn’t listen to anyone. He likes to act on his own.
• Tom is funny, sharp-mouthed but also dangerous but he doesn’t along with Tony.
• They always have their meeting in Paul’s bar. Anytime they have any plan to carry out, it was always in the nighter’s bar they stay to plan.
• “The black jaguars are disturbing us, we were unable to complete our last mission.”, Paul spoke up.
• “What if there’s someone that is spying on us?”, Sammy said.
• “There can’t be any spy amongst us right?”, Tony said.
• “How then are the black jaguars able to be a step ahead of us?”, Tom said facing Tony.
• “I don’t know…... . Maybe there’s a spy here”, he said indirectly referring to tom.
• “Are you indirectly saying am the spy?”, Tom said angrily going close to Tony.
• “Please stop this Tony, this will lead to something else”, Paul said and Sammy agreed.
• “What are you going to do then? Cry your face out?”, Tony asked hitting Tom’s chest.
• “Just stop this craziness right now”, Harrison shouted and everywhere became quiet.
• “You want to fight right? Go ahead and kill each other. Do you think that will solve the problem at hand?”, Harrison asked both Tony and Tom who said nothing but glare at each other.
• “Either there’s a spy or not, should be given the black jaguars the joy of seeing us fighting?”
• “Am sorry Harrison”, Tom apologized but Harrison ignored his apology.
• “I will see Mr Ryan, he is very angry right now”, Harrison said.
• “Tony make sure we don’t lose any of our members again, we must destroy the black jaguars”, Harrison instructed.
• Harrison had instructed one of his security men to buy and store foodstuffs in the kitchen. He doesn’t want Elena to be ordering food.
• Elena went home after waiting endlessly for Harrison and he didn’t show up. She wanted to visit her friends but it was already late and she already lost interest in going out.
• She was surprised to see foodstuff in the house when she met the house empty but the only problem she has is that she can’t cook.
• She wasn’t the spoilt type but she was never allowed to do any work.
• She thought f the simplest food to go and she chose noodles.
• She asked for the recipe for making noodles and followed the instructions that were given.
• “Who is there?”, Elena asked as her heart skipped a beat when she heard a sound from the living room.
• It was only her at home and someone can’t possibly be in the house except for ghosts.
• “Could ghosts be living in the remaining rooms?”, she wondered.
• Elena has always been of ghosts since she was a child and now she’s going to encounter a real one
• She took a sharp knife and moved to the living silently.
• “Why are you with a knife?”, Harrison asked surprised.
• “Nothing”, she replied as she sigh in relief.
• “That can’t be the answer to my question or is it?”, he asked icily making Elena wonder why he is always very cold, especially to her.
• “I ……... . I was just hmm….
• “Am sure you are not dumb”, he said and Elena glared at him.
• “Arrogant jerk”, she muttered.
• “Are you planning to burn this mansion?”, he asked when he perceived the burnt smell.
• Elena rushed to the kitchen to off the gas. The noodles were half burnt already.
• Elena sighed in frustration looking at the burnt noodles. She stood there crying not knowing what to do because she was hungry.
• Ever since she got married to Harrison, he has been on her own. She hasn’t tasted good food and hasn’t gone out in a while.
• “Why are you crying?”, Harrison’s voice brought Elena to the realization that she was crying.
• “This is too frustrating and tiring”, she said and Harrison found it ridiculous.
• “Are you crying because you are a terrible cook?”, he said with a mocking tone and it annoyed Elena.
• “You are a weakling”
• “Am not a weakling”, she denied.
• “I have always known you to be a weakling since you were young and now you are no different”, he said mockingly.
• “You know nothing about me”, she snapped.
• “Where did you go to?”, Elena asked.
• “It’s none of your business.”, he stated.
• “I don’t care about the things you do but you can’t just abandon me and disappear.”, Elena said trying not to control her anger.
• She might be afraid of him but it didn’t stop her from saying her mind.
• “Mind the way you talk to me, you can’t talk back at me.”, he stated.
• “I am not the Harrison you used to know, Don’t mess with me or you regret it all your life”, he threatened walking very close to her as she move back.
• Though her hands were trembling she tried as much as possible to overcome her fears but it seemed impossible.
• She ate the half-burnt noodles and went to bed without any noise.
• The threat by Harrison was enough to keep her quiet for the night.
• As she lay on the bed, her thoughts went to Jason.
• The way he smiled kept appearing to her and he couldn’t help but blush.
• Elena kept pondering on what he said: “I will see you soon”. She was excited to see him again and she prayed it will be soon.
• ** You can flirt with anyone else but not Jason **
• She couldn’t stop thinking of what Harrison said until she fell asleep.
• **
• Harrison sat on his chair in his study room and he wondered why Jason had to appear right now.
• When he has decided to finally move on and Jason decided to come and remind him of all his pain.
• *Sara will die if you continue to prove very stubborn, I will make sure I kill her personally *
• Those words were what Harrison would never forget. Ever.
• Until this moment, he keeps blaming himself for the death of Sara.
• Jason had been the cause of her suffering and death. He has vowed to never allow Elena to be the next victim.
• He has to make sure that Elena doesn’t fall for him or Jason and that he and Jason don’t fall for her.
