Chapter 7

• Khushi:
• I knocked on the door and Rakshak opened the door. I looked at him.
• "I want to talk with that girl," I said.
• "Are you mad?" Rakshak said.
• "I am your wife. I can bear anything but I can’t bear you sleeping with another girl. I don’t know what you did in your past but now I am not ready to allow you to do this. Go to our room," I said seriously and Rakshak stopped speaking. He didn't say even a word and moved calmly to our room. I went to talk to that girl
• "What's your name?"
• "Liya."
• "Liya, I am not angry with you. I am sure that no girl chooses this profession heartfully. Situations or the people might have forced you into this prostitution. But, life always gives you a chance to change your life. If you are ready for that change, I will help you for that," I said.
• "I can’t trouble you by asking you to help me to get out of this. Many bigshots and politicians are involved in this. But I am happy that you understood our problems, rather than showing aversion at me. Thank you for that.
• "Liya, from this moment you are my sister. Definitely, I will help you to live your life with respect," I promised her.
• Liya hugged me. I asked her to stay here for that night and went to our room. Rakshak came to me.
• "So, are you ready to accept me as your husband?" Rakshak said.
• I nodded.
• "Are you going to give me the right over you as your husband?
• "Yes," I said.
• "Is this to stop me from going to another girl or because of love?"
• I didn't answer him because whatever I say, he would not trust it. Rakshak hugged me and removed the hairs falling on my shoulder. He was about kiss me but stopped for a minute and looked at my eyes.
• "I want your love, not your body. I promise you that I will never betray you. But remember even now you are not free from me."
• Saying this Rakshak slept and I laid on the bed beside him, confused with his words and behavior.
• Next day, Rakshak left to the office and I went to the hospital. The maid tried to stop but I didn't listen to her and she called to Rakshak. I went to the reception in the hospital.
• "Excuse me, can you please tell me the room number of the patient Vignesh?" I said.
• "Room no.105, madam," the receptionist said, checking the database.
• "Thank you. By when can we pay the fees for his surgery?"
• "It's ts already paid, madam."
• "What? When and who paid it?"
• "I am sorry, madam.We don’t know the details. But it's paid yesterday and the operation was done. Mr. Vignesh is fine now."
• I didn't understand who cleared the fees. I thought to go to see my dad, but Abhi saw me there. He held my hand and brought me out of the hospital. We went to the free space outside the hospital to talk.
• "Khushi, how are you? Why did you marry Rakshak?"
• "Abhi, I am sorry."
• I shared everything with Abhi and why did I agree for this marriage.
• "I will protect you and our family. Come with me, Khushi. This marriage has no value. You no need to suffer like this. I will marry you.
• Rakshak is not suitable to you and he can never understand you. He is blindfolded with misunderstanding and he believes that whatever he thinks is absolutely right."
• "I can’t come with you, Abhi. I married Rakshak because of his force but not staying with him because of his blackmail.
• Rakshak is my husband and I accept that truth. I know Rakshak is not a good person, but don’t you know that no one is perfect in this world? Everyone behaves as per the circumstances they faced and the way they have grown up. Who knows if we were also grown like him in the same circumstances, we may not behave like this. I don't want to blame him for what he is and break this marriage.
• Breaking relationship is quite easy but I am not ready for that. For me, marriage is a sacred bonding between two souls decided by God. Divorce and breaking the relationship is not the only way to lead a happy life. Breaking relationship is necessary only when either we have life threat or our partner loves another person. But in my case, it's not applicable.
• I still have a chance change Rakshak and get his true love. I hope you understand me. I am sorry once again. Bye, Abhi,"
• "This is the reason behind me loving and admiring you, Khushi. I love you forever as your friend," Abhi said.
• I saw my family and dad from the distance and then, went to my home. I saw Rakshak in the hall. I expected him to be angry but he is cool.
• "How is your father and beloved Abhi? Did you talk well with Abhi?" Rakshak said.
• I smiled at his possessiveness.
• "If you know that I had a conversation with Abhi, don't you know that what did I talk to him?" I said.
• I understood that Rakshak heard my talk with Abhi.
• "How could I know? I am not spying on you."
• "Okay. Everyone are fine. Thank you, Rakshak."
• "Why are you thanking me? Is it for not saying anything to you even after breaking my rules?"
• "No, for saving my father by paying the hospital fees," I said.
• "What? Are you mad? What are you saying? I didn’t do anything. If possible, I will kill your father but wouldn't save him," Rakshak said.
• "Yes, until today I too thought the same but today I have realized that it's just my illusion. There's another shade in Rakshak and still humanity is alive in him," I said.
• "Stop your bullshit," Rakshak said.
• "Sure. I am tired and need a rest," I said and left to the room.
• Rakshak is trying hard to hate and hurt me. But most of the times, his love for me is taking over his hatred and anger. I wish I can explain to him what had actually happened in the past and clear the misunderstanding.
