Chapter 17

• After seeing Hayley sleeping soundly, Mrs. Juliana was still furrowing her brows but was beginning to relax. Then she questioned Evan and Rachel. "What truly took place today? What caused Hayley to tumble down the stairs?
• If these issues were minor, she would have gone back to bed in the house right away. However, since she knows Evan must have been involved, she needs to clean up his mess before anyone finds out.
• The cook was ignorant regarding what had really happened as well as Rachel.
