Chapter 28 His promises

• An idea came into my head and I smile, all I had to do was make him forget about all this so I open my lips to speak. “You must still be wondering about my two dates, Monday and Tuesday.”
• He stopped chewing his meal for a moment and glance at me, then he swallowed, sipping his wine and wiping off his lips with his napkin. “Yes, I am curious.”
• Now I got his attention and was sure that this would distract him from any punishment he must be thinking, even if he won’t hit me, as long as the word punishment was in it, I knew it would hurt.
