Chapter 136 Book 4: Ten

• Sasha spent two hours glancing at her phone, waiting for a call from Michael but nothing came. She tried his number again for the one hundredth time and it was still not reachable, what was happening? Michael was never hard to reach on call so what was wrong with today? Just as she thought of calling Gary to know what was wrong, there was a knock on the door and Sebastian entered, “ma’am, the investors are here,” he announced.
• “Okay,” Sasha nodded and dropped her phone on the table, “let’s go,” she said to him after picking up a file from her table. They both left her office to the conference room where her newest buyers —well she hoped they would be— were waiting. It was a short meeting and she was glad it was a success. The ladies were happy and they wanted to celebrate as they followed Sasha into her office.
• “Come on girl, we are growing by day, ten years ago when you started this company and wanted us to be your partners, we never knew we would get to the level that we are now. We can only dream but now, take a look, everybody is sorting us out and they always give a nice remark after working with us. What more can a girl ask for than to hang out with her boss? You stood us up the last time remember? And you promised to make up for it.” Marilyn gave her puppy eyes.
