Chapter 131 Book 4: Chapter Five

• Sasha stopped in front of a newspaper stand and bought the morning papers, scanning through the front page, she couldn’t believe what she was seeing, when did it happen? How come she doesn’t know of this? She glanced at the date and found out that it has been on the news for the past two weeks, the date struck her. That was the period Michael started acting up and then within a few short seconds, she finally figured it out after putting two and two together. No wonder he changed, no wonder he went back to stalking her, doubting her. It turned out this was the news and he didn’t tell her? He hid it from her and he punished her in the process.
• Anger boiled inside her and she couldn’t take it as she started her car and drove with one destination in mind: Brown’s Empire.
• As she drove into the building, she parked at the lot and grabbing the morning papers, she climbed out of the car. She stepped into the reception and all eyes turned on her before, “Good afternoon, Mrs. Brown,” started raining everywhere. Sasha didn’t stop to share pleasantries with anyone like she often did and it made the staff surprised as they all watched her storm into Michael’s private elevator. She punched in his office floor number and waited impatiently for the elevator to stop. And when it finally did, she stormed out before the doors were fully opened and she marched to his office with her hands clutching tightly on the newspaper.
