• "H...huh?" Sasha asked with a trembling voice which made Michael frowned deeper. He walked up to her in quick strides and wiped a strand of wet hair from her face.
• "Why are you like this?" His fingers trailed to her chin as he lifted her face up, she closed her eyes immediately for she fears he would see her sin in them, "have you been crying? Why?"
• "I...um" she gulped, "I...I...wasn't crying" she sniffed, "I just em" she gulped once more, licking her lips, "my hair got into my eyes while I was in the bathroom and I stayed too long in the water," she nodded, as if to agree with herself, but not without understanding that she had told another lie to him.
