Chapter 169 Band-Aid to the Situation

  • Twenty years ago, Miles was eleven years old when he was studying in America. Back then, Elliot Grant, Samuel Quintero, and Douglas Houston set up a company together. Elliot was the major shareholder, while Samuel and Douglas invested in equal proportions, so the two of them were on equal footing.
  • As the company expanded and they were making more money, they began having more disputes. Although Elliot was the major shareholder, Samuel and Douglas were also part of the start-up team. Therefore, their protests brought about restrictions to business development, which displeased Elliot greatly during meetings.
  • The three of them shared an odd relationship, as one of them would be singled out and criticized from time-to-time. Besides, the fact that Elliot was the major shareholder became the reason he held absolute right over decisions, which was what made him the target of the other two. Therefore, meetings seemed to turn into opportunities for them to question Elliot’s character instead of working out business decisions.
