Chapter 35 A Frank Conversation

• When I came down, Andrew and Henry were already at the castle's front door, their bags ready to go. Aime was saying goodbye to them, tearful. Pauline was with my mother, trying to contain herself. My heart was breaking at the prospect of waking up the next day and not seeing Andrew. Or not having your presence in front of me, at the table. It would be difficult days.
