Chapter 21

• He says it like some kind of god whose word wouldn't be broken for the benefit of everyone, but then he is no god and there are only two people present in this room, which is the two of us and I wouldn't mind breaking anything with him I'm it.
• Without saying anything to him I walk away. I make my way through the passageway which I brought Rory in earlier, and approach the code button on the door, but when I press in the code the door buzzes red.
• I frown and try again, but on and on the doors gives me the same red colour signal.
