Chapter 2

  • No one has the key, no one should have the keys, he broke in, what if he wants to rape you? What if he wants to hurt you?
  • I can see from where I am, that he didn't notice me so I grab a pepper spray that was in my bag where I had kept it earlier.
  • Never go out of the house unarmed. That's me in Josh's voice.
  • I launch forward quietly ready to destroy the intruder when my leg hit the table in the centre of the room and I fall face down which causes a loud noise. When I pull myself up I notice my towel loosening and I looked up to see the man clenching his teeth and coldly glaring down at me.
  • Glaring? Why is he glaring? I should be the one glaring.
  • "I know this is a five-star hotel, but I specifically asked for a room not a room and a whore you know." The glare and the clench teeth don't disappear, but a frown is added to his face.
  • Wait he didn't just... Did he.......? He did!
  • My mouth is hanging open from shock and I feel like I'm dumbstruck, I try to speak, but nothing comes out of my mouth. What the hell is happening to me? The three Js will be so disappointed in me if they find out.
  • Don't let a guy disrespect or walk on you, break his legs, crush his balls and knock his teeth out before you leave.
  • Those were the exact words Jack told me before I left this evening, but all that seems to be buried up inside me as I stare at the most arrogant man I've ever met.
  • This gesture seems to annoy him even more as he speaks again. "I know it's your job to please and satisfy your customers, and I would take up the offer any day, but today is not that day. So pack. Your. Self. Up. And. Get. Out. Of. My. Room."
  • My body jolt as yet another cold word from his mouth slaps me across my face. This would be the perfect time to initiate my kung fu skills, but the towel is the only thing I have on. Damn!!
  • I study the man that has found a way to make me feel lower than anything on the surface of the earth. He is wearing an old jacket on an already faded blue T-shirt his grey Jean is already fading and turning into white from excess use I guess. His hair messy brown hair mixed with gold and it looks like he doesn't have the time to take care of it.
  • Maybe he doesn't have the money to.
  • For someone who comes from a class much lower than the low-class people, he does have a bad mouth, I use to think Jack had the worse mouth on earth, but I take it all back now because this man's mouth put Jack's mouth to shame.
  • Still, something about him feels familiar and it draws me in to understand the mystery behind those deep green eyes of his. Any day green eyes would be my weakness, but not today and certainly not his.
  • "Are you going to lie there all day? May I remind you I'd like my room to myself." He says his tone brittle with annoyance
  • I shake my head finally recovering myself. "Shut the fuck up you good for nothing twat!" I hiss out at him, clearing reaching my breaking point. I pull myself to my feet to meet his cold, angry, and yet surprised gaze.
  • "Did I hear you well?"
  • I roll my eyes in disgust, "I. Said. Shut. The. Fuck. Up. You. Good. For. Nothing. Twat." I spit out at him through gritted teeth.
  • Anger flares in his eyes and I can practically see him going red and ready to burst any minute, and I might as well get ready.
  • "Listen to me." He starts to say but I cut him off.
  • "No, you listen to me you two face son of a nobody, I've been quietly patient for the last ten minute, and I do not know or want to know how you got into my room, but I want you gone by the time I get back." I grab my dress and my handbag from the chair where I laid them earlier, and walk back to the where I know I can dress up without being seen by any pervert.
  • I take the next twenty minute to dress up, let's just say my handbag has it all. I do my make-up light, foundation, and powder not adding more than that to my face. My lip, I grease with a nude lip gloss and my hair, I release from the ponytail I kept it to shower earlier and I'm ready to go.
  • I am determined not to let nobody ruin today, because tonight, I'll be meeting someone special, someone, who will definitely be rich, handsome and tall. I don't care if it'll take a lot of work to win his heart, I'm up for it.
  • Jacks words ring through my ears. When you find that rich guy, you don't have to fall for him, but make him fall for you, get married, then file for a divorce 30 days after. You be compensated with millions and we would become rich.
  • I know it's not going to be easy, but I have to save my family from poverty.
  • I step into my high heels and grab my handbag from the bathtub. I'll probably just take a walk around the hotel and get more exposure if you know what I mean.
  • I come back to the room and he is still there lying on the bed with his eyes closed. I can feel myself going red from anger at the man that is so ruining my evening.
  • "You clearly do have a hard time hearing or understanding don't you!?" I snap hardly, placing a tight hand on my hip.
  • "Coming from someone who was dumbfounded on the floor about twenty minutes ago, I'll take that as a compliment." He mumbles in spite, before opening his eyes to look at me.
  • His eye widens when he saw me fully dressed and his gaze hungrily rakes the whole of my body from head to toe. For an odd reason, his eyes make me feel nervous and shiver run down my spine. The dress is a black and glittering dress, cut four inches from the hip, making it hang dangerously over my thigh, the fitting is pretty as well as provoking as it displays my curves perfectly for everyone to see even this pervert.
  • The three Js says it is a perfect attention catcher, now I know what they meant.
  • Look away pervert this body isn't made for your stupid needs.
  • He recovers himself a minute after and awkwardly clears his throat. "What did you say again?"
  • This time I'm the one that glared at him. "I said get out!" I yell with a clenched fist.
  • "I can't, this is my room." He says with a careless shrug of his shoulder. He pulls out the key from his pocket and tosses it to me.
  • I look at the key in my hand and look at the number imprinted on its holder, it was written room 69 quickly I search in my bag which is on the table and pull out my key and turn the holder to see the number imprinted on it. Fuck what the hell? It is also sixty-nine.
  • "This must be some stupid joke," I say lowly with much anger. "There must be some kind of mistake."
  • "That's exactly what I'm thinking." He prompts in earning a glare from me. He ignores my glare and continues. "'Cause I remember the receptionist said room sixty-nine, sir, with a happy smile."
  • I cringe at the thought of the receptionist calling him sir, shouldn't that be illegal?
  • By the way, why is there a sudden change in him? Twenty minute ago he was so mad that he could have killed me with his bare hands if he wanted to and now he's all cool and calm. There is something fishy.
  • "The receptionist said the same thing to me except she said, young Miss," I muttered quietly. "There must be a mistake, we need to see the receptionist and sort this thing out." That's all I say before he gets up and walks towards me.
  • He stops when his face is inches away from mine, and I stare at the mischievous man who is towering over me with his height and built and making me feel incredibly small.
  • I can feel the heat coming from his body from the little space between us. I can't believe a guy I just met can have such an effect on me. Maybe because I haven't been close with a guy in a long time is the only excuse I can tell myself as I shiver internally.
  • He lowers his face, bringing his lips dangerously close to mine.
  • He isn't planning on kissing me, is he? What if he is? Oh, holy nothing keep me still in this trying time.
  • My breath cut when I feel his soft lips brush over my cheek, down my jaw to whisper in my ears. "Okay, let's go." And with that, he draws away and walks towards the door quickly like nothing happened.
  • Wait did something happen?
  • I take a moment to get myself together, this shouldn't be happening, not tonight, not with him!!
  • I follow behind him and we come to a young Lady receptionist who is busy typing something on the computer before her. The older one is gone, and I cuss under my breath so I wouldn't have to loudly cuss her.
  • The lady raises her head and looks at us, her gaze lingering longer on the man to hungrily study him and I almost roll my eyes. Almost.
  • "What can we do for the two of you?" She asks, too polite to the man if you'll ask me.
  • Before the man can reply, I cut in. "We both have the same key and we were given the same room, we want it corrected."
  • The lady gives us a concerned look before asking, "What number is it if I might ask?"
  • "Room number sixty-nine," I reply quickly, passing the key to her.
  • She collects the key and studies it for a while then reading something on the computer again before looking at us with an apologetic look. "We are sorry Miss, Sir but there's nothing we can do."
  • I mentally grab her hair. "You know what screw you! Where's your manager?" I demand hotly.
  • "He's in a meeting." She replies with a cool tone.
  • This time the man speaks up before I can fire any more cuss to the lady. "Look here, miss..." He looks carefully over her chest like he kept something there. "Clara there must be a mistake somewhere, we are not together if you know what I mean, and we would appreciate our privacy."
  • "I'm sorry, but room sixty-nine has been chosen for this year's matchmaking and you two are the Five-Star hotel couple of the year. Congratulation!!!" She squeals happily like she's the one getting married.
