Chapter 5 Fifth chapter of her story

  • "Drive safely, driver," Pershey reminded her driver who was driving her car.
  • "Yes, Doña Pershey," he answered. He didn't drive very fast and he didn't drive very slowly.
  • "Wait!" she banged her forehead on her cellphone. She was using cellphone in front of her face. "I said drive safely, Driver Gong," she said disgustedly. "Be careful, Driver Gong! My head keeps hurting," she complained. The driver scratched his head.
  • "S-sorry, Doña Pershey," he apologized. She calmed herself first before speaking.
  • "Let's go back to the mansion. I forgot my books there. Let's get them first," she said.
  • "Okay, Doña Pershey," he said. He immediately drove until they could return to the mansion. They immediately went down.
  • "Get the books inside. They're in boxes," she ordered. The driver nodded and immediately complied.
  • She was tired of waiting even though she only stood for a few minutes.
  • She followed the look of the driver who was carrying the burden on his shoulder.
  • "Are there many more out there?"
  • "Yeah, there are four more boxes inside," he said.
  • "I'll go first, driver Gong, just follow after you there."
  • "Where are you going to ride?"
  • "On my motorcycle"
  • "All right."
  • She immediately put her helmet and started to drive.
  • As usual her hair was messy and curly. She was still wearing her eyeglass with a pendant necklace. She was wearing a gray skirt that was above her knees. Her dress was black to fit her. It is cotton spandex. It has a small sunflower design in the middle. Her shirt was tucked in her skirt. It takes 20 minutes before she reaches the University de Forde.
  • She got off the motorcycle. She take off her helmet. "Nice ride," she said to herself.
  • "New vehicle?" Pershey looked at her.
  • "As you can see," she answered. She slipped her key into the mini bag.
  • "Do you have a license?"
  • She walked first before answering. "I got my drivers license yesterday." Leighden followed her into the University.
  • "Wait, I was just wondering,"
  • "Wondering where?" Pershey asked. "Is anything magical?"
  • “Why do you seem to come in so early today,” she commented. Pershey laughed slightly and softly. "It's only now that you came in early," she added.
  • Pershey stopped from walking not because of whatshe said but because she saw Neil from afar with a girl. She frowned as she stared deeply at Neil.
  • "Hey, Pershey! Don't you intend to answer?"
  • "Is that his girlfriend?" She was confused by Pershey's question. She couldn't answer because she couldn't understand her. "Neil already has a girlfriend?"
  • "Huh?" She stared at Pershey and looked where Pershey was looking. She realized her point. "Ask him," she said.
  • "How?" She was still staring them. Neil is talking to a girl.
  • "Perhaps ..." She frowned.
  • "Perhaps what?"
  • "Perhaps she's his sister," she said. She stopped in front of Pershey.
  • “Get out of here,” she said. She's calm as of now. She stepped sideways. "I can't see them," she added.
  • "Stop looking at them, Pershey. You will ruin your day," she sermonized. Pershey slightly looked at her and smiled bitterly.
  • "I've had a bad day before," she said, still calm.
  • "Really? Not obvious, Pershey," Leighden said. Pershey's words are calm, you won't notice that she is annoyed or angry, add her gentle face.
  • "Hey, look at me. Look at me," she commanded, Pershey obeyed. She touched both of Pershey's cheeks. "You're beautiful. Don't seek for love, Pershey, love will seek for you," she smiled afterwards. Pershey did not blink at what Leighden told her.
  • "Leighden," she called softly. She smiled. "You're being dramatic," she joked. Leighden walked first, she followed.
  • "Dramatic?" she asked.
  • "Yeah. Are you sick?"
  • "I'm not in pain."
  • "There is! Of course you have,"
  • "I'm not sick, Pershey."
  • "You're sick, Leighden. Yes, you're sick."
  • "What's the matter?"
  • "Dramatic disorder."
  • They stopped. "Dramatic disorder?" Pershey nodded. "Where in the trash did you find that word?"
  • "To you," she answered quickly. "I found that from you," she added.
  • "So I'm a trash? Just like that?"
  • “You’re a very good trash can,” she joked.
  • "Let's just go," she whispered. Before they could continue walking Pershey glanced at Neil again. She smiled bitterly with mixed annoyance. She wanted to come closer but she was embarrassed. She knew what Neil do and what would he say to her so she chose not to come.
  • "Are you suddenly silent? Are you okay, Pershey? Why do you still seem angry?"
  • "No, Leighden. I was just thinking."
  • "Neil is what you're thinking, am I right?"
  • "You are wrong."
  • "You're just going to leave but I'm coming back."
  • "Yeah, you're right. Neil is the one I have in mind."
  • She leaned against the bathroom door.
  • She took a deep breath. Leighden was in front of her, just watching her. “You’re jealous,” she said. Pershey was shaken. "You're already jealous," she repeated.
  • "I'm not really jealous," sge said with a tinge of annoyance. "Why should I be jealous? There is neither of us, Leighden. We are not," she added. She pinched Pershey's cheek. "Ouch," shw complained.
  • "Stop denying, Pershey. It's obvious, you're jealous," Leighden criticized her. She tilted her head to look away from Leighden. "You're really jealous, Pershey," she said excitedly and burst out laughing as she applauded. "You're jealous," she teased. Pershey looked at her sharply. Instead of being scared she laughed even more.
  • "Stop laughing! Nothing funny!" Pershey rebuked her. In her great annoyance she threw away her bag. Leighden picked it up immediately.
  • "Relax! Your blood getting high. You might have hypertension," Leighden said while laughing. Pershey placed her right hand on her chest. Feeling her heart beat. Pumping so fast. "Are you okay?"
  • "Do I look okay? Tsk! Disgusting!"
  • "Just take a deep breath. Inhale and exhale. Relax yourself. You'll look even older when your forehead is always frowning."
  • Meanwhile, the books she will distribute have already arrived at the University. It became a distraction within the campus. Puzzle what the contents of the boxes are and who it came from.
  • "Wait, Sir!" Gong lowered the box first. He clapped his hands and looked at the principal who had called him.
  • Gong is Pershey's driver. He's 35 years old.
  • "Yes, Ma'am? Can I help you?"
  • "What are they for? What's in the boxes? Are they all for the University?"
  • He smiled. "Yes, Ma'am," he said.
  • "Who sent those?"
  • "From Doña Pershey Adejar, Ma'am."
  • "Really? Is it all for the university?"
  • He nodded. The principal smiled broadly. "We're so blessed to have a student like her. Tell her that we're so thankful," she said.
  • "Yes, Ma'am. I'll tell her. I have to go."
  • Pershey was unaware that the books had been delivered. There are 13 boxes on campus.
  • They are still in the comfort room and talking. They are not aware of the passage of time.
  • "Hey, Pershey," she called. Pershey just looked at her and didn't answer. "Did you hear that?" Her left eyebrow rose. "You haven't heard anything?"
  • "Heard which one?" She looked in the mirror. She first removed her eyeglass and wiped it with her handkerchief.
  • She really didn't heard anything. She's being deaf. She only heard how her heart beat so fast with a mixture of nervousness.
  • She held out her hand. "Let's go outside, Pershey," she immediately pulled Pershey out of the corridor but Pershey didn't follow. She's out of her mood. She still had in mind what sge had seen before. She never lost sight of Neil and the woman she had been with before. She loses her appetite to go out. She even wanted to sneeze inside the comfort room.
  • "Go ahead, Leighden," she said. She removed Leighden's grip on her. She washed for a moment and examined herself in the mirror. She noticed herself. Leighden seems to be right in telling her.
  • She smiled as she examined herself. She touched both her cheeks. She gasped and bitterly smiled.
  • "Pershey!" She didn't notice that Leighden was coming out of the door. Her attention was as focused on the mirror. "Pershey Adejar!" she yelled.
  • "What ?!" she shouted too. She looked at herself in the mirror again. She smiles every time her eye hits the mirror. She could feel it smiling back at her.
  • "Pershey, come out!" Pershey didn't listen. "Pershey, the principal is calling you," she added in a calm word.
  • Her eyebrows met from what Leighden had said. She wondered why the principal would call her. She was still hesitant whether she would leave the comfort room or just stay inside.
  • "Aren't you coming out, Pershey?" She couldn't help but be annoyed with Pershey.
  • She smiled first before letting out a sigh. "Let me think about it," she said. Leighden was very annoyed with her. She sighed before she leave. Pershey left alone. "Disgusting," she whispered.
  • She adjusted herself but was still the same as before with her hair curled and wearing glasses.
  • She held 3 books tightly and left the comfort room. She heard the principal calling her. She ignored what she encountered. She admitted that she felt ashamed that she should not have felt.
  • She remembered the books. She noticed the boxes she had delivered to Gong. She smiled slightly.
