Chapter 2

  • Early in the pool...
  • Kurt Collin woke up early, accustomed to swimming in the morning. He took a few laps before deciding to go up to prepare to go to the Office of the General. While drinking water, he entered his room to get dressed. Kurt chose to wear jeans and a white T-shirt and took the leather jacket, slung it over his shoulder.
  • He picked up the shades next to the key of his motorbike.
  • He hurried out of the house and took the elevator to the garage. He immediately rode in his two-wheel Ducati Panigale V4, but he put on the helmet first before he started.
  • Kurt quickly got out of the building. He knew the traffic in the city was terrible, so he preferred to use a motorcycle when he was in the town.
  • He was already on the road when he heard a series of horns coming from the car behind him. Kurt looked away.
  • "Wow!"Nice ride!" the driver shouted from behind.
  • He ignored it and looked at the stoplight. He turned to the car next to him. It was a BMW sports car,
  • "Nice ride," Kurt murmured as the roof opened and the driver emerged, revealing a woman in her early twenties, her hair loose and ash gray, frowning while on the phone.
  • She was wearing a floral dress and was wearing a shade so that Kurt couldn't see her whole face,
  • But she was undeniably beautiful.
  • His criticism of the girl was interrupted when the one behind blew the horn again.
  • "Beep beep! Yow, green light! An annoyed shout from behind.
  • Kurt started the motor and left quickly.
  • He could no longer notice where the woman's car had turned. Regretful,
  • He quickly traced the direction of the base. A few moments later, he reached the marine command center.
  • Kurt is greeted by those he meets, and he nods at them with a smile.
  • He entered at the end of the room.
  • "Collin, 4-star marine, reporting for duty, sir!" Kurt's salutary language.
  • The General immediately nodded,
  • "I talked to your father, and we agreed not to accept your dismissal. We talked to the higher ranks, and they agreed to privilege you. You will only be called in an emergency, and you're still qualified for promotion." the General explained. The smile was wide on his face.
  • Kurt could not react immediately because he did not expect the decision of the highest-ranking official.
  • "I agreed, but give me the vacation I asked for.
  • "You know, when I turn 30, I need to join the company, and I don't have time to enjoy my life," Kurt said to the General. " He is his father's brother, so that he can complain.
  • "You can start your vacation anytime, but in case of an emergency, you have to come back." The final decision of the General, before he was dismissed.
  • Kurt could have done nothing but agree to their decision for him.
  • He left the room and went to the barracks of his group.
  • When he entered, his companions immediately saluted him.
  • Frowning, he nodded at them.
  • The comrades started when they saw his reaction.
  • "What's with the face? Do you regret your decision to leave us?" Leo asked jokingly.
  • He ignored him.
  • "Get ready. Let's have a party tonight!" he said to the group as he lay down on the bed.
  • "Woo!!" cheered the whole group, and they quickly got ready for the party.
  • The group doesn't know his actual state in life, and when they go out, he takes them to a cheap bar. But now, he decided to treat them to a high-class bar in the city.
  • "Wear the best outfit you have. We're going to the high-class bar, " Kurt reminded them when he saw that the companions were wearing only regular T-shirts.
  • The group looked at each other again and smiled broadly.
  • "Did you hear that? Guys, this is the first time, so wear the clothes reserved for your date!"
  • The whole group cheered.
  • Kurt just laughed while watching them.
  • It was already dark when they reached the center of the city, where the bars were located to be visited by the rich and influential people in society.
  • Kurt's group stared in amazement at a bar, the lights flashing, and the happy atmosphere could be heard throughout.
  • "HEAVEN STAR" is large and brightly written at the top of the building.
  • You will see a long line of customers at the entrance who want to enter.
  • Kurt's companion said, "Maybe we'll be in the queue in the morning, but we still can't get in," said the companion, unable to paint his face because they were at the end of the line.
  • "Hahaha, wait for me here. I'll just call someone and behave yourself." Kurt reminded his comrades before walking to the guard in front of the entrance.
  • "Good evening, sir. Is Jayson there? Can you please call him and tell him Kurt is here?" A smiling Kurt asked the guard.
  • The guard looked at him sharply.
  • "Buddy, this one is asking for Sir Jayson!" The guard laughs as he talks to his companion.
  • "Boss, everyone who comes here is looking for Sir Jayson and telling you they are friends with him. Think of another way!" The guard scolded him.
  • One of the guards pushed Kurt away, but he immediately caught and twisted it before his hand touched him.
  • I beg you nicely, and you don't have to use force. I repeat, please tell Jayson that Kurt Collin is looking for him". He let go of the guard's hand.
  • Those in the queue looked at each other. The guard was taller and more prominent, but it did nothing to the man who tried to enter.
  • Kurt's group quickly approached him.
  • "Kurt, you said behave, but you got it hot right away." reminded one of his comrades.
  • The two guards looked at each other when they saw the group.
  • One guard came inside to let Jayson know what was happening outside.
  • Kurt smiled as he waited for Jayson to arrive while the other guard looked at them seriously.
  • Soon, Jayson runs up to them.
  • "Mr. Collin, I'm sorry if my staff doesn't know you. Tomorrow they won't have a job here!" Jayson smiled softly at him.
  • The people who heard it looked at each other while Jayson - the owner of the bar and a well-known member of the mafia.
  • "You don't have to do that; they're just doing their job."
  • Kurt smiled at the guards and entered the bar first, and his group happily followed.
  • The two guards were sweating during the incident. They have never seen the boss treat anyone like that.
