Chapter 5

• "Goodnight,"I said and unbeckled the seat belt, grabbing my bag from the back seat I got down and looked through the window.
• "Goodnight,"Dylan said as he looked at me with a soft smile on his face.
• "Hey, "he called out before I could keep a step forward, leaning on the door i oeepedyou into the car shutter.
• "I'll be coming to drop you tomorrow,"he informed looking at me ,his hands on the steering wheel and his eyes on me.
• "That's okay,"I brushed off my hand "You might be late for work,"I told him.
• "No,I won't be,"
• "Is it ?,"I asked crunching up my nose.
• " I'm gonna be your business partner very soon,"he answered.
• "Really?,"
• "Yes,and we have lunch with Mr Han tomorrow to introduce the deals,"
• "Sounds cool, looking forward to work with you," I giggled as I stepped back "Anyways see yah, I'm kinda sleepy,"
• "Goodnight sweetheart,"he winked at me with a grin.
• "Goodnight prince,"I jokingly said and walked away as he drove off too.
• Walking in I stood infront of the elevator.
• "You home dear," I heard an old voice, it's aunt Cathy.
• "Yes aunty,you are back from your son's place right,"I asked looking at her cheerful face.
• Aunt Cathy lives in the floor below mine and she is very loving,she sends me food and also invites me for dinner and tea. Chatting with her makes time fly.
• "You met your new neighbor,"she asked as we walked into the elevator.
• "New neighbor, I didn't know about it,"I almost mumbled to myself.
• "Your new neighbor is the landlord,"she informed as she moved closer to me.
• "He is soo handsome,"she squeeled like a little child "having a pretty girl like you as a neighbor will surely make a love story," she opined clapping her hands together like she won a lottery.
• "Your assumption is beyond my thought,"I declaimed as I smiled and adjusted my glasses.
• "Ohh I forgot that you have a boyfriend, poor neighbor," she added sympathetically.
• she ways thought that Dylan and I am a couple and I've explained to her many times saying that he is not my boyfriend but she keeps telling me to call him over to a dinner.
• "Okay, darling,take care, goodnight," she walked out.
• The elevator doors parted, stepping out I noticed that the surrounding was in pitch black except for the moonlight which was getting through the small grill window.
• Is there a power cut, but earlier everything was fine in all the floors, keeping steps forward slowly I pulled out my phone from my bag to use the torch.
• BANG!!!!
• I flinched as the sound came out of nowhere, trying to calm my racing heartbeat I looked down.
• shit..I dropped my phone,
• walking everywhere as possible I dragged my feet over the floor to find my phone, looking down I walked trying to find my phone but my heartbeat halted and a loud scream escaped my mouth when I hit someone.
• "ahhhhhhhh," I shouted as I knocked on the figure hard which made me to stumble back. Stepping on my feet I lost my balance and began to slide backwards but someone pulled me by my arm to his hard chest before I landed on the floor .
• Opening my tightly shut eyes I looked up trying to look at the person who saved me. The figure is too tall as my head is just below the chest. Staring at the the figure I examined the features which can be seen slightly for the moonlight .

• I knitted my brows when the lights lit which made to automatically look towards my right where he was operating the main switch, moving my gaze I looked up.
• "Had enough looking at me,"he smirked as he looked down meeting my eyes.

• A hot blushed rised over my cheeks in embarrassment, pushing him behind I stepped back on my feet.
• Damn....this is soo embarrassing...
• Stepping forward he stood right infront of me as he bent low to meet my height
• "Is this how you treat your neighbors,"he asked amusingly.
• "I ...uh,"I stuttered as I couldn't form words.
• Looking up at him I ran towards my door, unlocking it instantly I walked in and slammed the door shut,resting on door I stared at a empty place.
• "You left your phone here,"he called out which made me to come back to reality.
• Adjusting my glasses I opened the door slowly and peeped out to see him leaning against the wall looking at my phone.
• Rushing out I snatched it from his grasp and rushed in back, ignoring the sound of his chuckles.
