Chapter 9 Ice-castle of Ayruzglow

• Somewhere in the middle of the sky,
• The flapping wings of Ivan awaken the dozy Dev who was in his partial consciousness by the effect of the tasteful wine of the Frozen Crescent. Leaving the ice cave bar of Frozen Crescent, Ivan grabbed Dev to meet the Queen.
• Ivan Shirk turned on his dragon mode; he was indeed a giant red dragon. The mighty wings of red splashed through the top-notch trees on their way to the castle.
• It was almost dawn, when the eyelids of icy-blue iris were opened quickly, and realized his whole body was lifted by Ivan Shirk in his red dragon form, his soul-friend and general in his army.
• “Let me down, Ivan. I’m awake” Dev shouted to the maximum to aim his words to the ears of Ivan Shirk.
• Ivan Shirk spoke to him, “Hold on Dev, We have reached our destination.”
• Dev told Ivan in a derisive tone, “I want a smooth landing, IVY”
• On hearing those words, Ivan breathes fire and ragged to reply, “Don’t call me that. You are calling me in the way as if I’m your girlfriend”
• Dev was annoyed by the word girlfriend and quickly responded to him, “I don’t have any girlfriends. Why it's bothering you all the time?”
• “Quickly find one. I can’t accompany you all the time”- Ivan told him by gliding across the trees to reach his destination.
• “Dare Ivy. You even dare to find one?” – Dev asked him fake anguish tone.
• “Sure Dev. If I were chosen by one, I would least be hanging with you” – Ivan told Dev just to provoke his calmness.
• Dev who was in fake anguish, added few words to his anguishes, “Will you leave me just for those freaky girls?”
• Ivan was worried by the statement Dev. It gave arousal of thoughts to Ivan, “Oh Dev, Why have you concluded the relationship with girls? If you are not impressed by any, that implies you haven’t seen any who could live the rest of her life with you. Only for you.”
• Dev replied, “Such girls don’t exist in this universe. If one ever wanted to spend her life with me, she then chooses my wealth, not me.”
• “Not all the girls are desirous. Tell me, Dev. What will you do when you have fallen for a girl?” – Ivan asked to know what will Dev reply.
• Dev said confidently, “In your dreams, Ivy. I won’t belong to any girl in this entire universe unless my mother. Only my mother has all the access points on me.”
• Ivan reacted with a sigh, “Let’s see Dev, heaven knows what your destiny will bring, I’m damn sure, you will be possessed by a girl and you…”
• Dev told him, “Then its sense, I have my bad destiny. Ivy, will you take my side even I have the worst destiny? Or will you let me suffer in such pain?”
• Ivan posted a question as to his answer, “Having doubts in my loyalty, Dev?”
• “Hahaha…..”, Dev laughed smartly.
• “Dev, I’m reminding you not to call me in that name in front of Queen” Ivan dropped Dev from the height of 10 feet in the entrance of the castle. He hit the wall of the castle a little the hard way and rolled down the floor of the entrance of the castle calling Ivan as Ivy again and again.
• The Castle was made of ice, awe-inspiring, built with hundreds of thousands of icicles that bring fairy tales to life. The Ice-castle was transparent and silvery ice particles of snow blanketed every wall and floor, seems snow was settling upon not only the castle but the entire land of Ayruzglow.
• The Ice-Castle was located at the top of the snow-covered mountain. The Ice-Castle has brilliant features of Great Tower part which is the largest tower and best stronghold of the castle, followed by Curtain walls which are defensive walls, followed by Bailey, the area around the Great Tower, protected by Curtain wall.
• The raised area of parapet with open spaces that surmounts a wall and is mainly used for defence and decorative purposes of Ice-castles are said as Battlements. The Ice-Castle also contains sharp icicles of moat area, a large fortified gatehouse, and a majestic Drawbridge which links the castle and the gatehouse.
• In the Ice-Throne, the official residence of the Queen was made of ice which was raised with many steps, under a canopy; there lies the majestic Queen of Ayruzglow, Mirabella Swiftwings.
• Mirabella was a White-Witch, Queen of White magic, and mother of Dev Swiftwings. She is married to the mighty and powerful king of the Great Dragon clan, Jaysan Swiftwings. He was an extraordinary golden dragon in his clan.
• So, Dev was a hybrid dragon-wizard of all ages who inhibits all the powers of valiant and magic of his parents.
• As the hybrid dragon-wizard, he was born as a unique white dragon with golden blood, icy-blue iris, silvery hair, and possess healing power of white magic which is also called natural magic. He could change his appearance both as a powerful white dragon and also a wizard of white magic.
• Maybe it could be the reason why the Queen wanted him not to involve in any battle with wizards and werewolves as his unique golden blood contains various effects of self-healing, curative, and furnish three times more immune of one’s power and strength whoever consumes and much more effects.
• Dev was always seen as a legend by his loyalties, as an object that increases one’s power, and as an all-time tough rival on the battlefield.
• Ivan grabbed the hands of Dev to go on his feet, “I curse you, Dev. You will be possessed by a girl and your heart under the thick dragon scales will bloom with love. Oh, I wanted to see your face dipped in love.”
• Dev replied who was listening to him with a raised eyebrow, “Ivy, you are cursing the half wizard and half dragon man. Your curse won’t affect me. And… the girl who ever wanted to marry me would be brain-cracked.”
