Chapter 6 Day 8 And 9: Training The Master

  • Heron chose to stay away from Marcus for he had deemed his last night’s actions unforgivable. Although it was what he had wanted all this time, he did not mean it to force the boy in an act that he wasn’t ready yet. Teleporting himself in the mountains near the house, he stayed there for what seemed like an eternity until he heard Marcus’ call. It was the only thing he needed to believe that the boy still wanted him.
  • Come morning, Marcus was up with a better health. The fever and the pounding headache he had experienced the other day were long gone.
  • “Good morning, Marcus,” Heron, in his butler suit and with a towel draped over his forearm, greeted him at the foot of the bed just like he always does. It warmed the boy’s heart instantly and he smiled on his way.
