Chapter 12

I entered the school and waited until Seyah showed up. Finally I sighed in relief as I saw her coming through the gate. She was walking as she was just an empty soul. She was looking down and the way she walked made my heart hurt me again. I watched her for a while and turned to leave but at the same time her eyes met mine. I held my breath because of the look she had on her face. Her lips curled upwards as she saw me. Then she walked towards me.
“Good morning Seth,” At the same time I heard Eliza’s voice and I looked at her. She was smiling at me.
I quickly grabbed her from her waist and pressed my lips against hers. Eliza quickly wrapped her arms around my neck and responded to my kiss but all I felt was disgust. I just stayed and didn’t even move my lips. I looked at Seyah who was looking at us with an extreme hurt look. She was just staring straight into my eyes. She watched me for a while and her lips turned to a smile, a smile that filled with pain, betrayal and everything. Then she slowly looked down and walked away.
