- I went to his mother’s house at last and Cathy came and sat beside me holding my hand, listening quietly while I tried to explain my complex emotions.
- Gently Cathy said, “You make it all too complicated Carmen. There is only one question for you to answer for yourself. “Do you want to go with him or not?”
