• "She was in a coma for two months, Maddy. I made sure I went to see her every day until she woke up. Maddy, do you know that Avery got pregnant after having sex with Williams? She knew her parents won't be able to take care of both of them, so she tried aborting it; she got so depressed and wanted to end her life. I had to pay for their hospital bills, her parents were poor, her mother was a cleaner while her father sold fish, they already had two children that were in college, being on scholarship in our school was the best thing that would ever happen to them. People started talking behind her about how she tried to kill herself and how foolish she was to abort her baby when she got out. Nobody felt pity for her, she tried reporting the matter to the principal, but he refused to listen to her."
