Chapter 17 GETTING CLOSER

• As the days go by, Ashy and Paul get closer, and add to that, Jem's functions and teasful words anc actions.. As time went on, they got to know each other. She proved that Paul was a really good person. What else would a woman look for in someone like heim? Whether she admits it or not that a little admiration has formed for Paul, she still won't say that and just keep it herself.
• Sometimes Jem and Ashy don't meet in the office anymore because they are both busy with their jobs.
• "Ohh Jem, are you still here? I thought you came home? Why are you here? Where is your car? " she asked her who had obviously been waiting for a ride.
