• Fifteen minutes later, I arrive at the house. Her smell lingers in the air causing Silas to whine. Xavier, We’ll find her. I shift to the door, my eye catching ring that she gave me—the vision of her smile that night at my party to into my head. I smile for a second, my heart full. When the light of a car pulling up pulls me from that lovely image. The car pulls past me and parks. As I approach, they all get out of the car.
