- The rustling of leaves calmed my nerves as I lay with my eyes closed on the leather couch. Even the occasional thunder strike didn’t frighten me. I could hear a trickle of rain beginning to calm me even further. Moreover, I was looking forward to the weekend; the sunshine was about to begin.
