• Nicholas came out of the shower few minutes later. I couldn’t go in next because I was curled up on the couch, memories of the past creeping into my heart like a parasite. 
• I closed my eyes to try and stop the tears from flowing but nothing worked. I needed a miracle, a miracle to stop myself from either hurting myself or Nicholas tonight. It’s been so long I used a therapist but I think I have to go back now because I wasn’t as healed as I’d thought.
