Chapter 8 Together Again

  • Kyle's Point of View :
  • It's already eight o'clock in the morning but Twaine still doesn't go down to her room, all I know is that she has a class at 10 o'clock so I decided to go to her room.
  • I don't understand her, she's still okay when we ate. She was still talking to me. I made three consecutive knocks on her bedroom door.
  • "Twaine," I call her name.
  • "Twaine aren't you coming in?" I asked her.
  • "Twaine, are you mad? Talk to me, please!" I still beg her from outside her bedroom door. It also looks like she has no intention of opening the door for me.
  • "What is your problem?" Her annoyed face flashed at me.
  • "Are you mad?" I asked.
  • "It's none of your business! You're already with your Roxanne, right? So, why do you care?" She said angrily. She was about to close the door of her room, so I quickly blocked it with my arms.
  • "Twaine, what are you talking about? Haven't we talked about Roxanne before?"
  • "That's it! We've already talked, haven't we? But you still managed to kiss her—and in front of me! Kyle?" Her eyes glared at me.
  • "Are you jealous?" I asked suddenly.
  • "In your dreams!" She shouted in my face angrily, then she slammed the door of her room.
  • I was just twisted in my senses because of what she did. I didn't think she had seen that.
  • Flashback.
  • When I heard a doorbell from outside, I stood up to see who it was. I didn't expect any visitors. Especially, Twaine.
  • I was surprised to see Roxanne on the monitor. I immediately went out and opened her up.
  • "What are you doing here?" I asked her in shock.
  • "What kind of opening is that Kyle?" She joked.
  • "Seriously, why are you here?" I asked her again.
  • "I came to you, aunt said you came home here so I went to see you." She smiled explaining.
  • "Roxanne, let's end this," I said coldly.
  • "End, what?" She asked unbelievably.
  • "I love my wife, I realized that just these days. I love her, so let's stop this." I told her the truth. Roxanne was silent for a moment because of that.
  • "I know you love her, and I know she loves you too—but Kyle, I love you more!" I didn’t expect the last thing she said. I knew Roxanne had liked me before, but I hardly thought she would love me so quickly. I laughed because of that.
  • "So, what do you want to convey?" I asked her trying not to show any kind of emotion.
  • "I don't want to end what's between us!" My eyes widened at what she said.
  • "Are you crazy, already? I'm married! You're going to look like a mistress, Roxanne!" I almost shouted at her.
  • She's considered a teacher but she does not use her brain properly.
  • "That's how it is Kyle. I won't let you broke up with me, I don't want to!" She said like crazy.
  • "Roxanne—" I couldn't continue what I was about to say when she suddenly kissed me. I couldn’t move, I couldn’t react. It's too late for me to push her away. Because all of a sudden she almost fell when I pushed her.
  • "You're insane!" After I told her, I closed the gate completely.
  • "Kyle! Kyle doesn't do this to me!" She was still screaming but I ignored her.
  • End of flashback.
  • "Twaine, you're wrong. I didn't want that kiss." I explained to her outside her room. I know she can hear me.
  • "I've finished what with us Twaine, we're done." I heard the door open slowly.
  • "R-really?" She asked like a child as her angelic eyes twinkled.
  • 'Tss what a childish'
  • "Yes. I love you," I replied with a smile.
  • "I love you, hubby!" She said softly once hugging me tightly.
  • "I love you more, wifey!" I answered with a tighter hug to her.
  • "Please, let's not fight again hubby? Because I feel so sad." She said like a child.
  • "Of course my wife, promise not anymore. I love you, always and forever." I said smiling.
  • After our courtship, I ordered her to get dressed because she might get late for her class. It was good and she followed me quickly.
  • "I'm done!" She said with a smile after she got dressed.
  • "I'll drive you to school," I said to her smiling. Her eyes widened because of that.
  • "R-really? Are you okay?" She was making sure.
  • "Of course, it's also a remedy for the pain that I've caused to you in the past," I said softly to her.
  • "Heh!" She just said.
  • While driving, Twaine held my arm. She also often buries her face in my side.
  • "Are you smelling me?" I laughed questioning her.
  • "Isn't it obvious, hubby? Why is your scent so sweet? It's annoying!" She's my wife, my childish wife.
  • "You smell good too, don't you?" She suddenly blushed because of what I said.
  • "Do you smell me too?" She asked blushing.
  • "Of course, you're as strong as you stick to me so I can smell you." I joked to her. She frowned.
  • "It's because I've missed you a lot!" She said sullenly.
  • "You look cute, wifey!" I told her. She just pouted.
  • "I know I am for a long time!" She said proudly.
  • I just laughed.
  • For a moment there was silence between us. Fortunately, we are right in front of her University.
  • "I want an allowance!" She said as she held out her hand. I gave her, her allowance.
  • "Wifey," I called to her as she turned away. I kissed her on her cheeks. She was stunned for a moment and blushed because of what I had done.
  • "Take care, I love you," I said sweetly before waving to her.
  • " Wah! Hubby, don't make me look like I don't want to go in!" She said, and she's so cute with that.
  • 'Watta childish angel'
  • "Go ahead. I'll also go straight to the office." I smiled and told her.
  • "All right,"
  • "I'll pick you up later, wait for me here." I remind her.
  • "Okay, hubby. All right, you leave and I'll go in too."
  • When Twaine entered the gate of Hartfeld University, I then started my car. I smiled as I refresh on what happened earlier. Her jealousy and her childishness again.
