• Teja POV:-
• There is one word to describe me right now.
• Numbness.
• Yes, that person broke me today.
• I thought after I achieved my goals, No one was able to force me to do something, I never want.
• But, how wrong am I?
• How can he do this to me?
• I slapped him because he insulted my character, after knowing everything.
• How can he say that he wants revenge from me just because of that slap?
• Why????
• Mom, I don't want to live now. He will break my self-esteem, which I made after so much hard work. I did nothing bad to him.
• Heck, I never hurt a little animal.
• Then, why is all this happening to me?
• I just want to become a doctor and buy a house for mom, Bubbly, and me.
• So, we can live calmly after divorcing mom and my so-called dad.
• But, destiny plays dirty with me.
• Bubbly got married, Mom is suffering from Blood Cancer and I am going to marry with a devil.
• Who wants to ruin me.

• I come out from thoughts when I heard a siren.
• I turned and saw myself between the high over and a truck is coming towards me.
• I become stunned then I suddenly remembered his words.
• " If you dared to commit suicide and escape. I will stop your mother's treatment. "
• I run towards the side and sigh in relief.
• I didn't see that I left already.
• I can't directly go to the home. Mom will immediately understand that I am hiding something from her.

• It is one of my favorite places where I can't able to go much because of financial problems.

• I thought and stopped a cab and gave him the address.
• He starts driving and I look outside with teary eyes.
• " Mam, we arrived. " The driver said and said him a thank you and paid the bill.
• I came in front of the lord Kali temple and took off my shoes.
• Yes, I come to the temple and this temple held many memories of mom and mine.
• Mom told me that this place gives her strength whenever she felt defeated.
• I come inside and walk in front of the statue of Lord Kali.
• She is still looking beautiful just, like before but this temple changed a lot.
• I saw there is not anyone except me, which gave me the green card to let out my emotions.
• I ran towards Lord Kali and sat on my knees and start crying while touching her feet.
• " Why is this happening to me, goddess Kali? " I asked while crying.
• After crying my heart out, I felt relaxed.
• I felt a new strength and calmness in me.
• I stood up and joined my hands and worship her.
• I turned around and saw a lady in her 70's who is looking at me with sadness.
• " Dear, what happened to you? " She asked.
• " Something this which broke me beyond repair. " I said and she nodded with a sad smile. She comes in front of me and patted my forehead.
• " Dear, always remember one thing, Fate creates some hurdles in a person's life because they know that person's capability. Every hurdle is created to make you strong. So, always learn something from those hurdles and never admit defeat. You may become weak but never defeat. " That aunt explained, and I felt a new ray inside me.
• " Yes, I will never let those hurdles take over me. I will fight till the last breath of mine. " I said, and she smiled.
• I said goodbye and took my leave as I saw the time which shows 9 pm.
• I left the home while walking because this temple is near my home. Just took 15 minutes of walking.
• I was walking, and I heard I heal a click sound.
• No one is showing in my way which made me realize that I am quite late.
• I walk fastly and reached my home.
• I entered and saw mom, Bubbly, stepdad, and grandma is sitting in the hall.
• " Teja, you are back. Why are you late? " Mom asked.
• " An important surgery came up and I have to assist my senior Doctor. " I said, and they nodded.
• " Mom, your report came up. " I said hesitantly, and she is looking at me curiously.
• " So, what are the results? " Bubbly asked.
• " Please, you don't need to worry about your disease. It's curable. " I explained, and they look at me with confusion.
• " Teja, can you tell me. what type of disease do I have? " Mom asked, and I gulped.
• I am trying to control my emotion.
• So, no one was able to understand me.
• Especially, mom.
• " Vo, mom is suffering from blood cancer. " I said and dropped the bomb.
• I heard everyone gasp.
• I show everyone's face.
• Bubbly started crying and hugged mom.
• Mom is consoling her but, looking worried.
• Stepdad has no emotion on his face like he doesn't care about mom, which is true as I know about his whoring around.
• Grandma is looking with an evil smirk, but when she saw me looking at her. She changed her emotion in a million seconds and started fake crying.
• God, some people are natural actors. Even Oskar will become shy in front of those people.
• I hugged mom and Bubbly and consoled her.
• " Mom, you need to start your treatment as soon as possible. You don't need to worry about money because I have enough. " I explained.
• " Yes mom, Please start your treatment as soon as possible. I don't want to lose you. Please. " Bubbly said, and mom sighed in defeat.
• " Alright, I will think about it. " Mom said, and we nodded.
• " Let's go for dinner. " Mom said, trying to divert the discussion.
• We nodded as we need to be strong for the sake of mom.
• She needs to eat properly.
• We have to start giving her vitamin, calcium, mineral medicines first.
• So, she can have enough energy in her body.
• We had our dinner silently.
• Then everyone went to sleep except mom and me.
• " Teja, can we talk in your room? " Mom asked, and I nodded.
• We went to my room and I changed my clothes first and took a quick shower.
• I come back and saw mom sitting in the bed in an Indian style and looking weak.
• Her weakness is breaking me inside.
• " Mom!!! " I said and sit in front of her in an Indian style.
• She opened her eyes and said, " Teja, I don't want you to use your money on me. "
• Her words made me gasp. I am looking at her with wide eyes.
• " Why, mom? " I asked.
• " Because that was for your future. I have a last wish to see getting married to a person you love. " Mom said, and I look at her with sadness.
• " Mom, I will get married to the person I love. But, please, start your treatment. I will die if something happened to you. " I said, and she sighed.
• " Okay, dear. I will start my treatment. " Mom said, and I hugged her immediately.
• " Thank you, mom. " I said and kissed her forehead.
• Inside, I am crying because I can't able to save myself from that devil.
