Chapter 5 Why do you hate me?

• THE DENNIS MANSION*
• Tasha drove back home feeling happy. She couldn't stop blushing at the complement that was given to her by Josh.
• She got inside and saw her parents having a heated discussion and it seems her mom was already getting angry. Immediately her mom saw her and she replaced her angry face with a smile.
• She noticed that something was off but this wasn't the time to talk about it. After all she didn't want anything or anyone to ruin her mood, not just now.
• She secretly rolled her eyes and made for the stairs when the voice which has always irritated her stopped her on her track.
• " Where did you keep your manners Tasha?" Her dad asked. She scoffed and turned to him.
• Her mom mouthed at her telling her to keep her cool but she didn't buy that. She has always been stubborn and fearless.
• " I always lose them when it comes to you!" She said in gretted teeths and walked upstairs, leaving no room for anyone to say anything.
• Her father scoffed and turned to his wife staring daggers at her.
• " You see what you've caused right? Always pampering her and now she has the audacity to talk back at me!" Her dad bellowed.
• " I will go talk to her" her mum uttered as she made for the stairs heading to her room.
• Tasha was inside her room staring at the mirror as she touched her lips. It reminded her of the kiss she gave Josh on the lips before leaving.
• She was smiling as she stared at the mirror. She just couldn't stop smiling. This was the first time they've kissed and he didn't push her nor do anything to offend her.
• " So I was wrong...he really loves me like I claim!" She screamed as she collapsed on her bed.
• She carried her phone as she wanted to place a call across to Josh but then, a knock was heard on her door.
• " It's open!" she yelled and her mom opened the door. She walked in and sat on her bed.
• " Tasha, we need to talk..."
• " Mom, am I getting prettier?" She asked as she cut her mom off.
• Her mom stared at her and tucked her hair behind her ear. She stared keenly at her mom expecting a reply.
• Her mom smiled and replied with a nod. " You are getting prettier by the day."
• " Oh my God!" She exclaimed as she closed her mouth. Her mom was already getting worried as she touched her forehead.
• " Are you ok? What happened? Did I say something bad?" She asked rushing questions.
• " No mom, you are the best!" She said, " You and Josh are the best. I love you both so much."
• She gave her mom one sided hug and pecked her cheek.
• " Alright, thank you but that's not why I am here" her mom said and she stared at her with a puzzled expression.
• " What do you mean?"
• " Am here to talk about the way you talk to your dad" she said and Tasha stood up heading to the bathroom.
• " Tasha, where are you going? Am talking to you"
• " I'm a tired mom, I've had a long day. I need to take a quick shower and have some rest" she said.
• " But we're talking about you...."
• " Please mom, I am not in the mood to talk about that man!" She said cutting her mom sharply and immediately dashed into the bathroom.

• THE LUCA'S MANSION*
• Later that day Josh decided to visit his brother whom he hasn't seen since he got back . He was bored anyways, he has been in his room since he got back from spain.
• He dressed up in a white T-shirt and black trouser, he was looking simple and he loved it that way.
• He likes dressing in simple outfits unlike his brother who always dresses up in suits and corporate outfits.
• Maybe that was his own way of dressing after all he was a Ceo in his father's company while Josh was just a son of Lucas's empire.
• He came downstairs and met some still munching on nuts and apples this time around. It's what she's been doing all day and it now seems like her daily routine.
• " I'm heading out for a while mom," he uttered.
• She scoffed and continued with what she was doing without giving him a reply.
• Without saying another word, he also left the house too. He went straight to the garage and a driver was right in front of his favorite car waiting to take him to wherever he wanted to.
• " Don't worry drex, I will drive myself out" he said with no expression on his face.
• " But sir, Mr Lucas will kill me if he finds out you went alone," the driver said as he bowed his head expecting a shout or slap from Josh.
• " Don't worry drex, I will take care of it" he said with a light smile and the driver nodded his head before stepping away from the car.
• Josh got into the car and drove out at great speed. He was going straight to the hotel to meet his brother. He has always known his brother to love his personal space.

• GOLDEN HOTEL*
• Camdan suite....
• Camdan woke up as he sat upright. He groaned when a headache stroked a part of his head. He searched the room and realized he was the only one inside.
• He was about to stand up when he felt something on his skin. He looked at it and realized it was a drip.
• He tried to recall what happened but another headache stroked him badly. Almost immediately Nicole entered the room holding a fancy paper bag.
• " Sir you are awake, are you ok?" She asked with a smile.
• " What happened?" He asked, totally ignoring her question. After all, he has told her to learn how to mind her business.
• " You passed out, so I had to call the doctor to come attend to you, since you don't like going to the hospital" she said and his gaze diverted to her.
• " You know me so well Nicole" He said with a smirk plastered on his lips. One could tell that was a warning.
• " Am sorry sir" she replied as she took her bottom lips in. She didn't want him to get mad at her or stress himself.
• The doctor has said he collapsed because he doesn't eat much and always stresses himself. And that's true, he barely has time for himself.
• " Sir, I got you something to..." Nicole was saying when a knock disrupted what she was about to say.
• " I will go get it"
• She walked over to the door and opened it. She drooled at the person before her. He was so damn good looking.
• He chuckled as he was drooling. She realized he had noticed and quickly comforted herself.
• " Who are you?" She asked and he smiled.
• " Is Camdan in?" He asked and she replied with a nod.
• Josh entered inside and met his brother on a sick bed, he was on drip. He was looking pale and lifeless.
• Immediately Camdan gaze met him, he got livid as his eyes had turned bloodshot.
• " What are you doing here?!" He growled.
