Chapter 11

• She didn’t know why whoever was calling her wouldn’t just get the hint that she didn’t want to talk. That she didn’t want to be awake at the moment. So they should just stop calling. When it woke her up from a very interesting dream she had been livid. She declined the call and went back to sleep. That had been her mistake. She kept it on vibrate, then switched to silent. Her eyes had been on the nightstand the entire time because her screen never went dark once.
• Quite persistent.
• She sat up ignoring her sleep. There was no way she was going to go back to sleep. The sun was out and breakfast would be ready soon. It was funny how she had gotten used to that so quick. Must be her secretary ethics. She picked up her phone and placed it by her ear.
