Chapter 169 Missing Her Husband

  • GENESIS
  • My heart was beginning to ache again, and my thoughts were running wild with more thoughts. I had not heard from Jordan for over a week, and it was beginning to make me sick to my stomach. He had truly said that he would not be reachable before he left and even told me that he would not be available anymore, but I had hoped that it wouldn't be so. Even if he had to be unreachable, I thought it would only be for a few days. I truly believed that it would not be so bad because we talked frequently the first few days and weeks after he left. • I sighed, seeing that the sun was up, and weakly got up from the bed. The room was beginning to feel lonely as the day went by, and my heart was beginning to ache. Talking with him was better than not being able to hear from him at all, and the three weeks he spoke of had elapsed. Did something go wrong? What happened to him? Why was I so scared?
