• I remained frozen at the spot, unable to believe that Jordan had just said that to me or even Samantha. I shut my eyes and looked around to be sure that there was no hidden camera or reporters around. It might be why he was acting up in front of the woman he loved all his life. But I found no other person except the chefs who were looking at the scene. I turned my gaze back to Jordan and still found that he was still staring at me with a lot of intensity and a smile at his lips. I gulped, still not believing that I had heard right and turned to the woman who was behind him. She had moved away from where she was and was now at the side while she stared at him with wide eyes and open mouth. That look did it for me. It was the look that proved that it was not a movie neither was it a dream for Jordan had really said all that. I took my eyes away from her and turned to Jordan as I recuperated from his speech and his lips twitched as it widened with a smile. His eyes sparkled from a distance and my heart fluttered. Leaving his mistress, he started towards me with his gaze still intense on me. My body instantly warmed up and my cheeks heated up immediately. I didn’t know how to react to all this but one thing was there, I was beyond cloud nine.
• He stopped in front of me and I lowered my gaze and bit my lower lips slightly. His scent was stronger and soothing and the thought of leaning into his body suddenly popped up in my head. My cheeks heated up even more and I thought the ground should simply open up and swallow me at that instance.
• “Were you really going to leave?” his voice came. Soft, calm, soothing and sexy. I could not help but raise my gaze up to look at him as his voice drew me. His eyes were still glued to me, and my throat ran dry. I opened my mouth to speak, and found his eyes snap to my lips in an instance. Goosebumps filled my skin and I lowered my gaze from his eyes as well and allowed my thoughts to linger on his lips. They were glossy and really admirable. They looked really tasty too and the thought of kissing him soon overwhelmed me. I felt my thighs heat up and quickly pulled my thoughts away from that direction, then I looked away from him.
