• Shaking his head to clear the fog, Dom looked around and figured they’d landed where they wanted to be, in the grungy bathroom. Tess released his arm and held her hand over her lips. He nodded. She held up the transmitter and then pointed toward the window.
• He nodded again. She jerked her head toward the shower stall and it was then that the sound registered. “Jennah.”
• “You’re here? Just give me two seconds—this water feels too good to not grab a quick rinse.”
