Avera stood among the ranks, walking on alongside the people in their steady march onward into battle with Benjamin at their head. The clouds began to gather and the light dimmed as they approached the maurium capital. The dark haze which overshadowed the city began to impede her view, and she wondered how they would fight when they could barely see.
• "We're losing visibility," Kypher commented, and she could sense the tension in his voice.
• "It's the maurium," Adrien informed them. "They treat it with magic to enhance the darkness. If the magic is removed, the maurium collapses."
