• "Just give me to him, Francis,"  I said because I was scared for him because maybe that’s what Javier would do.
• I went with Francis when he asked me to leave because I also wanted to and so that my mind and heart would be calm.  Too much has happened to us, lately, I feel so bad because of what Christine did to me, I didn’t fight back because I was thinking about the baby I was carrying in my womb.
• I felt Francis’s tight grip on me which was something I was worried about because there was a trace in his eye the determination that we would get stuck here despite the disaster we both faced.
