Chapter 38

• Jayda's POV
• After Fred helped me to the hospital, he wanted to follow me but I didn't want to stress him, I had to make him leave. He was just a perfect neighbor who would do anything for me and I wasn't ready to take advantage of that but once I was in front of the General hospital, elbowing my way I'm the door, trying not to get blood on everything I touched.
• My gaze swivelled over the waiting room looking for a place to sit. A TV played quietly in one corner, a distraction that might have helped but I wasn't ready to sit.
