Chapter 4

• TWO HOURS EARLIER
• Emerson got out his car and picked up his phone.. He looked around as sighted the building he saw in the picture that was sent to him. He opened his car door and hopped in. He picked up his black spec and get off the car.
• "How can he abduct kids near a sanctuary home" Emerson thought and locked his car.
• He took the narrow part that led to the building but also the back of the building. He looked around before taking the wall. He heaved a deep breath when he saw how tight the security was.
• With a brief glance of the compound, he sighted the kids.
• "They are fvcking much" he caused.
• "Logan !!" he muttered with a clenching teeth. He got down from the wall and walked around the building which was around the kids area. He climbed that side again and peeped. He was about to get off when a kid sighted him. His heart skipped thousands beat. He placed his middle finger on his lips and the little girl nodded.
• "Someone will save us" Anaya whispered into Ariel ear. Ariel who won't stop crying wiped her tears instantly and became serious.
• "Who is here to save us ?" Ariel whispered. Anaya told her to keep quite and she did.
• "I want to use the restroom" Anaya cried out. She looked around and stood up.
• "Wait for me Ariel, I want to use the toilet" she whispered..
• "Who wants to use the restroom" one of the boys asked.
• "Me. I want to use the restroom" Anaya said and stood up.
• Meanwhile, Emerson was checking how Anaya was brave enough to stand up despite sighting the gun with the boys. When other kids were crying including her younger sister but she happened to be excluded.
• "Do you want mama, to nurse your arms when you go back home" the guy asked and Anaya nodded negatively.
• "I just want to use the--- she couldn't finish her words when a gun was pointed beside her head.
• "I'm gonna blow your f*cking skull off your neck" the guy roar loudly enough for Anaya to shift a little backwards.
• "Let her use the restroom" Logan said and sat down on a iron chair that was few steps away from the kids.
• "Hello kiddo" Logan signalled her to come closer. Anaya dragged her feet closer to him but not close to him.
• "You should find your way out and pee. I'm giving you five minutes and come back here" Logan said and she nodded quickly and ran out to the next exit...
• "Is like that Emerson won't give a fvck about kids" one of the boys said to Logan.
• "Let's wait for more minutes" Logan muttered, checking his wristwatch.
• His sitting position that moment was enough for Emerson to shoot his head but he was stopping himself because of the kids.
• Anaya was left alone to find her way out.
• "I need to see that hoodie guy" Anaya thought, wandering around the un complete building. Suddenly a hand pulled her hand and covered her mouth.
• "Sssshh" Emerson shhh her slowly.
• "Hoodie hero" Anaya called and hugged him which pulled Emerson into a total shock. He was speechless and was also happy. He haven't hug a kid before and to be sincere he felt different, he smiled brightly. The almighty Emerson smiled, that was something rare to see but he found himself smiling as tears streamed down Anaya's cheeks.
• His real self got mixed with his emotions and he found himself moving his hand to touch her hair. He suddenly realized what he was about to do...
• "F*ck, get off me" he caused and pulled Anaya away from his body.
• "I'm sorry" Anaya apologized instantly but wasn't moving away from the spot she was.
• "Thought you said you wanna pee" Emerson asked checking out his gun.
• "Give me that " Anaya said pointing at the gun he was holding.
• "You mean this" Emerson asked again and waved the gun over her face and she nodded.
• "Did you think it's a toy gun" Emerson arched his brows and scoffed.
• "I know it's not a toy gun and I know a shot at living will make that person drop dead instantly" Anaya explained. Emerson was left to be shock. He deepen his gaze at her.
• He pulled out a gun and threw it at her.
• "Teach me how to use it" she said, not taking her eyes off the gun. .
• "Just like the way they use to do it the movies" Emerson joked.
• "Hold on did I just joked" he thought.
• "Okay" Anaya said and he was left speechless again.
• "Since it's just like how they use to use it in movies then I will need another one" Anaya said.
• "Ha ha ha ha " Emerson laughed. She's the second person that ever made him laughed wholeheartedly.
• "I'm serious, I need another one in other to back this one up " Anaya said. She kept touching the gun and moved her gaze away from it.
• Emerson was really curious of what her next move was immediately she collects the gun from him.
• "Thanks hoodie hero" Anaya giggled and held the gun firmly but this time around the gun was pointed directly to Emerson. At first his heart skipped thousands beat. But he later ignored it.
• "I thought you will be scared" Anaya chuckled and winked at him.
• "Give them back" Emerson suddenly said.
• "Hoodie hero looks scared" Anaya chuckled and smiled.
• "You are wasting my time" Emerson almost said with a loud voice but caution himself.
• "Shhh" Anaya shunned him and signalled him to bend down to his level.
• " I need to save my younger sister but I will have to kill bad guys in order to save my younger sister.
• "You have a younger sister" Emerson asked and she nodded.
• "Stay here, I want to do something outside, but immediately you hear a gun shot make sure you run back and save your sister and friends. Don't shoot" Emerson said.
• "I won't shoot" Anaya replied quickly.
• "This one that you gave me a quick reply. Don't shoot. What's your name ?" He asked..
• "Anaya, Anaya Remington" she replied.
• "Mafia Anaya Remington, follow your boss instructions and don't shoot, okay!" Emerson said and left the room.
• He went back out and climbed the wall he climbed earlier on and saw Logan and his boss, packing their stuffs into the van.
• "He thought I won't come" Emerson thought and smirked. He set his gun in a perfect position and was about to shoot when he heard a gun shot.
