Chapter 57 SECRETS [ PART 1]

• With the rack of the door, Mya and Laura both froze with their gazes fixed on the door which was yet to throw ajar, as the familiar voice penetrated the quite room. Their thoughts went blank with absolutely nothing in mind-it was like a dead end for Mya. Laura's flushed gaze instinctively fixed on Mya's and she flinched.
• "No, do something now, Mya ---you must not be seen here" Laura mumbled and Mya fidgeted as if she could actually hear her sister's warning. Turning to the wardrobe at the right end of the room, she spontaneously made a dash for it.
• Hansel sauntered in but automatically paused at the door to which his eagle eyes scanned through the whole room as if he could see through each corner. Soon he sensed he wasn't alone ; the sense of another human alerted him as he took steady steps towards his desk. Mya and Laura noticed the sudden silence and was alarmed.
