Chapter 19 I'M SORRY, MYA

• Amy slowly drew the phone from her ear, all depressed and frustrated with heavy heart. She scoffed, involuntarily blinking her eyes as tears strolled down her cheeks. Her gaze fell on Laura's picture on the wall_with a morose look, she drifted closer. A faint, sorrowful smile dazzled on her face as she gently brushed her hand over the frame.
• "(sniffs with tears in her eyes)Nothing had ever been the same with your absence, Laura, my baby. Everyone misses you, especially, Mya and Kelvin(sobs); mummy misses you too", she mumbled and breaks down in tears.
• Kelvin stood over the stairs without Amy's notice. He glanced at her mother in tears. His heart always ache to see his family especially his mother in such pain and agony after that day. Every passing day was like hell, a nightmare that was inevitable. His father hardly comes home from work and Mya always returns late and drunk. Her once, loving, introvert and caring personality suddenly turned cold.
