She woke up late, not even once her alarms had woken her up; she got stuck in a traffic jam; one of her car’s tire got flat; a bad weather greeted her day; and she got lost in her way to the meeting place she was given.
Eunice glanced at her watch and to the road interchangeably. The heavy rain makes everything slow, that crossing the street really takes time for the crossers. She heaved a sigh as she stopped herself from blowing the horn and glanced at her things that for some reason, she has decided to packed two pairs of her clothes.
She startled as her phone rang. An unregistered number is calling and even without guessing, not expecting a call from anyone else, she already knew who the caller could be.
