• Gabe turned out to be a good cook. Of course, he had a big slab of raw beef. But he made a great ham and cheese omelet and toast with tea. Since I became pregnant, I stopped drinking coffee. When he told me who, and what he was, I was scared and ran to the bedroom locking the door. I threw myself across the bed curling into a ball and cried like a baby. Of course, I blame my hormones for that. But I also did a lot of thinking and thought about how he never hurt me, he only protected me and even saved my life more than once. And really if he and his brothers wanted to conquer Earth, they could have done that years ago when they first landed.
• Thinking about it now, it does seem as if they only want to live a normal life. Then I pushed and searched his feelings through the bond and found what he said was the truth. But he held back. So, I made my decision but before I gave it, I wanted him to trust me enough to tell me everything. So, I unlocked the door and walked out, and I am glad I did. Not only did he tell me everything, but he also asked me to marry him, and I said yes.
