Chapter 2 Tears of sadness

  • Calista kept busy with her job as a waitress as she avoided the eyes of the men who stare at her lustfully. Her beautiful face and beautiful body mesmerized them. Two scary-faced men with muscles and tattoos couldn't take their eyes off her. The way they look at her freaked her out. Their eyes said they wanted so badly to taste her body and enjoy her pussy.
  • She took a deep breath, trying to be brave, and walked over to their table with their drinks in her hands. “Sir, this is your order,” she said and put the drinks on the table. “Is there anything else I can help you with?” she asked politely.
  • They both smiled mischievously at her. “You can join us. Come on! Sit here!” said one of them. “I’m sorry, sir. I have to go back to work,” she said. “I said sit here!” he grabbed her arm and made her sit sideways on his lap.
  • “Let me go!” she said as she struggled. Her heart was beating fast in fear. He ignored her words, smiling at her with a lustful gaze as he gripped her arms firmly.
  • “Hey! What you doing?! Let her go now! Or I will call the police!” Alice yelled, glaring at him. He paid no attention to Alice's words. “No! Please stop!” Calista said while struggling as he kissed her neck. Tears rolled down her cheeks as her body trembled.
  • The customers who were there did not dare to help. They were afraid of those two men. Alice wanted to help her, but before she got close, Stefan, the owner of this cafe, came out of the kitchen with his gun aimed at them. “Let her go now! Or I will shoot you!” he said.
  • They both got scared. The man who was harassing Calista then released her arms from his grip. Calista immediately ran to hug Alice, and they both went into the kitchen. The two men then left the cafe in anger, while the other customers left in fear. Stefan kept asking them to stay, but they left anyway.
  • Stefan then walked into the kitchen and sat next to Calista. His sad eyes looked into hers. “Calista, because you work here, things like this often happen. If this continues, my customers will be afraid to come here,” he said.
  • “I’m so sorry, sir,” Calista said, holding back her tears.
  • “Sir, this is not her fault! All because of those bastards! They are to blame, not her! Alice said in anger.
  • “I know it’s not her fault! But as long as she works here, those bastards won’t stop harassing her! I really need money for my sick wife so I can’t lose my customers!” Stefan said, raising his voice.
  • Alice couldn't say a word as she avoided his eyes and looked at Calista's sad face. Stefan sighed, trying to calm his anger. He then stood up from his chair and walked out of the kitchen, saying nothing.
  • Calista turned her face to Alice as she held her hand and smiled at her, trying to comfort her. She tried to smile back at her, even though she was sad and scared right now.
  • ********
  • Calista is on her way home now with Alice. Alice always drove her home after work. She was worried and didn't want her to come home late at night alone. Calista's mind was filled with worry. She was afraid Stefan would fire her. She needs money for her college so she can't lose her job.
  • “Calista...”
  • She turned to her left in startled and she saw Alice was staring at her with sad eyes. She just realized that they have arrived in front of her house. Alice knew what was on her mind. Then she took her hand. “Don’t worry. Trust me. Everything will be alright,” she said gently into her eyes.
  • Calista nodded at her reassuringly, trying to smile. She then unbuckled her seatbelt and looked back into her eyes. “Be careful on your way. See ya.” Alice answered her with a nod. Calista then got out of the car and waved at her. Alice smiled at her and left the place in her car.
  • Calista walked towards the front door of the house. This house belonged to her parents. They have passed away. Her mom died when she gave birth to her. Then when she was ten, her dad died saving her from a car accident. Since her dad passed away, she has lived with her step-aunt named Anna Blonde and her daughter Amber, who is 3 years older than her. They are the only family she has left.
  • They are both so mean to her. They would often beat and slap her if she didn’t obey their orders. They treat her like a slave in her own home. They had bullied her since she was a child, which made her grow up to be a timid and weak girl.
  • Alice had told her many times to kick them out of her house, but she didn't have the heart to do that. She had a heart as beautiful as her face, and it was her heart that would change her destiny forever.
  • Calista tried to open the door, but it’s locked, and it’s dark inside. She then leaned her back against the door as she sighed. She feels exhausted and sleepy.
  • A motorbike then parked in front of her. Amber just came home with her boyfriend. She then got off and kissed him on the lips lustfully. When he saw her, he stopped kissing her. “Who is she? She is so beautiful. Is she your sister?” he said and asked.
  • Anger and jealousy burned within Amber. She then moved her gaze from his face to Calista's. “What the f*ck are you doing there?!” she yelled, glaring at her.
  • “I can’t go inside. You have my keys,” Calista said in fear.
  • Amber just remembered that she had taken her keys because she had lost hers. She then walked away from her boyfriend angrily towards her.
  • “Wait! Don’t you want to introduce me to her? What’s her name?” he asked. Amber ignored his words. She opened the locked door and pushed Calista to walk in while yelling at her, “Get in!" She slammed the door and locked it.
  • Not long after, her boyfriend started his motorbike and left this place.Amber suddenly slapped Calista’s cheek so hard. “B*tch! Why you always try to seduce my boyfriend? Why?!” she yelled at her face.
  • Fear and pain gripped Calista at the same time, making her body tremble. She couldn't open her mouth to speak and could only stare at her. Amber grabbed Calista’s face with her angry eyes fixed on hers. “I warned you. Never dare to show your face in front of my boyfriend again or I’ll burn your face!” she said in a threatening tone. She then pushed her so hard that she fell to the floor. She walked into her room and slammed the door.
  • Calista’s cheek hurt so much and it felt like it was burning. She tried not to cry, but she couldn't and she cried silently. She then wiped her tears, got up from the floor, and walked to her room. Right now, she just wants to sleep and forget all the bad things that have happened.
