• I could not even enjoy myself at my own party because I was worried about her, she was nowhere to be found and if anything happened to her, my beta and best friend would blame it on me, it was not as if I actually cared about her, I would not want people to see me as the Alpha who neglected his mate even at the point of death.
• I did not have much to do, I would just have to keep up with her until she leaves, if possible, I would have formed an alliance with her brother but he was such a difficult human being to work with.
