Chapter 19 Confused

• Leo typed on his laptop, attempting to edit and correct any errors in the file while also repairing the documents. He'd been working on it for four hours and his back was hurting. He exhaled as he sat back in his chair. He was exhausted and sleepy at the same time. He removed his phone from the table to check for messages from anyone or his clients. He noticed that his phone had been turned off, and then he remembered that he was the one who had done so. When he turned it on, a flood of text messages arrived on his phone, the majority of which were from Lily. He sighed, and his father texted him, or did he believe he wasn't in the office? Leo dialed his number, but he didn't answer the phone.
• He tried again and again, but he still didn't pick up the phone, and Leo dropped it. He was taken aback by the text messages he received and wondered what was wrong with her. Leo refused to answer her calls because he was afraid of how she would react, and besides, she was already causing him problems. Sometimes Leo wished he had broken up with her sooner, so that the issue of love and then marriage would not have arisen. Was he sure? He adored the girl. He doesn't believe so, and he's never been in love with her. He only felt attraction to her, lust, and nothing else. But he knew he shouldn't have done that to her; he should've broken up with her a long time ago. Yes, he should have done so in order to avoid this type of heartbreak.
