Chapter 33

• Jude didn’t come back, even for the night. And I couldn’t sleep without knowing he was okay.
• So, I decided to come out of my room and grab something to drink from the fridge. Now that I was going to be an official member and student, I could use it without a worry, right? I didn’t have to rely on Etienne for food. Or whatever else.
• I cackled under my nose as I walked down the silent corridor. I was finally free and able to make my own decisions. I wasn’t a servant anymore. Although I had spent most of my time free and without any tasks, it was a great relief the title was gone from over my head.
