Chapter 2 Arrogant Xander

• "You are back, did you get the job, were you picked, how was it?." Sophie asked her friend the minute she walked into the sitting room. Michelle ignored her instead carried the carton of cereal into the kitchen and placed in the kitchen cupboard.
• "Where did you get the money to buy that?." Sophie questions following Michelle into the kitchen.
• "Ugh, for a human being you talk to much. You're not a parrot so stop." Michelle says with an eye roll, hands on her waist.
• "If you had answered all my questions, I don't think I would still be asking more. Would I?." Sophie retorts.
• "Fine, I did not go for the interview." Michelle announced, plopping down on one of the armchair.
• "What! Why?." Sophie exclaims.
• "Sit down, and I will tell you." Sophie stares at her friend for a while then went on to sit down.
• Few minutes later, Sophie could be seen laughing her heart out on the expense of Michelle. "Wow, my friend is really crazy. How could you even take the carton of cereal and the dress, after all that." Sophie asks between laughs.
• "Girl, you should have seen how that director kept on shouting at me, it wasn't funny but annoying. The carton of cereal and the dress was just a consolation prize." Michelle says with a smirk.
• "Wait, what about your dress, the one you wore for the interview." Sophie asked.
• "Is in my bag or do you think I would leave my clothes for them. Girl, it's not possible. Anyway, I need to go have a bath, gosh I'm stinking." Michelle had a look of disgust as she said those words. She blew her friend a kiss then walked away to the bedroom, to go have a nice long bath.
• "Take your time in the shower babe, I will go have some cereal." Sophie yells getting up from the couch she's sitting and proceeds to the kitchen.

• Xander Collins growls for the eleventh time, staring at his laptop. He just got the damn thing fixed and now is giving him troubles. If there's one thing Xander hates, is to spend money on unnecessary stuff, like he would tag them as.
• "Kate! Kate! Kate!." He yelled really loudly. Kate his secretary rushed into his office really nervously, wondering what the boss wants now. If there's one thing Kate fears the most, it is being called to her boss office. The guy is the rudest, most bossy, arrogant, person she had ever met in her life.
• "Sir, you called for me." Kate says, standing in front of Xander's desk.
• "What happened to your hand, is there anything wrong with it. mostly the knuckle, is there anything wrong with it." Xander asks. Kate examined her hand then her knuckles, but there was no sign of any injury, so she raised up her head and answered "No sir."
• "Good, since your hand and your knuckles is perfectly fine why don't you give me a valid reason why you could not knock on the door before walking into my office." Xander asks looking really serious. Kate stares at him and would have love to say, "What the heck sir, whenever I knock on the door you would say I shouldn't knock because from the sound of your voice I should know it's urgent, blah blah blah blah." Sadly, she can't say that why? Cause she need the damn job.
• "I'm sorry sir." Kate apologise, her head bowed to the floor.
• "Get out!." Xander yelled, Kate looked at him shocked, "What?."
• "Don't make me repeat myself Kate. Get out of my office and knock on the damn door." He growled. Kate shrieked at his voice, stepping back in fear. She rushed out of the office in a flash, afraid her boss would use her face for a design.
• Kate stood outside the door, took in a deep breath then knocked on the boss office. "Come in." Xander said. Kate rolled her eyes walking into the office.
• "Sir, you called for me." Kate says again, her fingers squeezed together nervously.
• "I thought I asked you to send this laptop to the repairer shop." Xander ask.
• "Yes sir, you did. And I took it for repairs." Kate answered.
• "Why is it still giving me troubles." Xander asks again. Kate sighed inwardly, her boss is a billionaire. A freaking f!cking billionaire and still yet he manages money more than a pauper would.
• Kate bit her lip, afraid of saying what's in her mind. "Kate, speak up. I'm not paying you so you could bit your lip and not say a damn word when I ask you a question." Xander yells hitting his hand on the desk getting impatient.
• "Sir, the.. the laptop it's spoilt, it's broken sir, you've been using that laptop for the past 6years. I don't think it can be repaired anymore." Kate said those words looking at any other place in the office but her boss.
• Xander left eye twitch in anger, he hates to spend his money on unnecessary stuffs, he needs to save it and get his empire more bigger, his aim is to be the richest man in the world.
• "Go, leave now." He growled at Kate. Kate not wanting her boss anger to fall on her, quickly runs out of the office.
• Xander sighs exaggeratedly, picks up his phone then makes a phone call.

• Michelle walked into BrandXan company, she looks around the company in awe holding a box in her hand. She had gotten a job in a delivery company and her fist customer is in this company.
• Michelle walks to the receptionist and asked for a certain person name Xander Collins, she was told the Xander Collins is the Owner of the company, the CEO.
• Michelle sighs tiredly getting into the lift, she never expected delivering goods, to be this tiring.
• "Hi, how can I help you ma'am." Kate asked the girl who's walking straight to her bosses office.
• "I have a package for your boss." Michelle replied the secretary.
• "Please wait, let me put a call across to my boss." Kate says, Michelle nods her head and waited.
• "You can go in." Kate informs her, Michelle nods her head and walks over to the CEO office, she knocks on the door but no one answered, she knocks again and two more time and had the same result.
• Michelle sighed, opened the door and walked into the office, she does not have all day to waste.
• "And who the f!ck ask you to come in." Xander yells from behind his office table.
• "Well... Nobody actually told me to get in but I've been kno....."
• "Do I look like i care to know if you've been knocking on the goddamn door. I'm busy at the moment, so get your freaky ass out of my office and come back only when I ask you to." Xander yelled glaring at her.

• You promised soph, you won't lose this job. Michelle recites walking out of Xander's office. Xander's secretary gave her a sit and she sat down there and waited. An hour later, he hasn't still called her.
• Michelle paced around a little bit, when she couldn't take it anymore she barged into the CEO office despite Kate pleadings.
• "You! Didn't I ask you to wait outside, get the f!ck out of my office now." Xander growled at Michelle as she walks back into his office.
• "Here is your package, please sign here and here." Michelle says showing him where to sign on the booklet in her hand, totally ignoring his earlier words. Xander took the book from her and tore it.
• "What the hell did you just do." Michelle cried out in shock.
• "Next time, when I ask you to stay outside, you remain there till I call on you. Now get your filthy a$$ out of...." Xander couldn't complete his sentence cause Michelle landed a slap on his face.
• "That's for tearing my book." Michelle says.
• "What the.." another slap was landed on his face. "Now this is for wasting my time." She says again, then slapped him again. " This is for all the names you've been calling me. Have a nice day Mr CEO." With that said she walked out of his office having a look of pure content on her face.
• "Sorry soph but I just became jobless again."
