Chapter 34 Blamaya

• Tresh stared at Azure’s medical file for a long time, fuming inside. His mother and fans was right after all. Azure had tricked him into marriage and he fell right into her trap. Azure constantly told him that she was on a contraceptive, that’s why he never used protection with her. He just assumed that the contraceptive had failed when she became pregnant but according to her hospital file, she intentionally stopped her contraception because she wanted a baby and that was immediately when Amaya left the country. Not only was she off the contraceptives, she was also taking fertility medication to help her conceive. Returning to the private maternity suite, he spent the next eighteen hours sitting quietly next to Azure. He did not want to confront her before she delivered because he was afraid that it might raise her blood pressure and put her and his baby at risk. Azure’s conniving was not the only thing in his mind though. Amaya leaving with Blaze was also playing over and over in his head. Somehow Azure tricking him into marriage was nothing compared to Amaya holding his best friend’s hand and leaving with him.
• Azure screamed and groaned with labour pains but Tresh just sat there and not even attempted rubbing her back like they practiced in maternity and labour classes. She could tell from his expression that Tresh was really angry but she was in too much pain to worry about it. After eighteen hours baby Sean was born, a cute boy with his father’s eyes. Tresh held his boy in his arms, instantly falling in love. “Daddy got you,” he reassured his son looking lovingly at him. He was certain that his marriage to his mother would end soon but one thing for sure was he would be there for his son no matter what. On any given day, he would have posted the photographs of his son and shared his joy with his fans but the moment he logged into his account he discovered that social media was in chaos. The video clips from Daniel’s wedding were shared all over. Him freezing when Amaya walked in had become a social media challenge with couples imitating what happened and other users judging who executed the scene best. The video clip of him saving Amaya and the part he refused to let her go even when Billy was dead was the most commented upon of all the videos but the dance floor video clip was what created all the chaos. Him dancing with Amaya with his arms around her waist was step by step and scene by scene compared to the one when he danced with Azure. The discussion went on and on about where he kept his arms and how he looked at Azure. Looking at the videos clips, it was just clear to even the naive that he was not really into it and danced with Azure out of guilt. Tremaya’s fans were once again feeling vindicated by all of this, they felt that it was no use for them to accept Azure as Tresh’s wife when it was clear that he was still into Amaya.
• “Amaya might not be the legal wife but she will forever be the only Mother we recognise and Daddy’s reaction says it all,” a self proclaimed Tremaya fan had commented, getting support from millions of other fans. Tresh had gotten used to his fans addressing Amaya as their mother and him as their father regardless of their age. Daniel always thought it was ridiculous but he secretly loved it.
