Chapter 33 Undeniably

• Amaya felt the bullet go through her flesh, terrified screams filled the chapel as more gun shots were heard as Detectives More and Peter both shot simultaneously at Billy, killing him instantly. For the next fifteen minutes the hall went dead silent, everyone too shaken and processing what just happened. The last people to snap out of it were Tresh and Amaya who were still tangled up on the floor. 
• “Are you okay?” Tresh asked concerned, looking at her. 
• Amaya nodded, her heart pounding and still too shocked to speak. The bullet  only scraped her arm, it definitely would have killed her had Tresh not acted as swiftly as he did.
